  1. Have been thinking about making a mark or engraving initials into my blaster just in case it goes missing but still no guaranty i would ever see it again
  2. Nice going so far
  3. I use a bit of primer first, helps the top coat cover nicely
  4. I use two piece os metal fly wire mesh, place the cross of both pieces opposite each other for maximum effect, can still get air through
  5. Yes there are and has been some talk about modding aromor for them too
  6. Black is on and drying nicely
  7. I have had two orders from them sent to Australia, one took 2 weeks the other 3 weeks, post from the UK not very quick at the moment
  8. Hi good luck with your build, will be watching
  9. Here are a couple more
  10. I know Clamps lol I took your idea and just made the figure a bit larger, then thought I may have a go at a few different ones
  11. There are many that don't have the ability to build a blaster and would kindly take it off your hands if you built it for ANH centurion. As Jimmy said could be a good option to build it up, sell it off and have the know how and money to fund your ROTJ blaster
  12. You could buy your armor and helmet seperate, then all your small parts one by one, body suit, gloves, blaster, studs, elastic, etc, etc
  13. Love quick drying primer, now a bit of silver and bronze, black tomorrow
  14. OMG you managed to keep it for three years without finishing lol. Good luck with the rest of the build, hope it's not another 3
  15. You can also make some really nice mods to it as well. Good luck with your build, we will be watching
  16. Sanded and now in primer and there was much excitement
  17. Fitting the sound board, battery box and speaker into the spring, snug but fits All hooked up and working
  18. Power cylinders glued on and bayonet lug Also flash guards T Track cut, bent fitted and glued
  19. Maybe find somthing round that would fit inside then carefully heat the outside, not too much heat or it could bubble, then allow to cool and hopefully it will keep the shape
  20. Armor envy is worse lol Just tidying up a bit of the electrics, lazer is in the front. Looks good when you fire at something you can see where you have hit I sourced the lazer from this builders level I found a plastic bottle that just fits over the front piece, takes up the gap in the pipe, shame the pipe in Aus is a bit bigger, not to worry fits snuggly and allows me to be able to take the lights out if one blows. I used a small piece of wire to hold the two hi-bright leds, keeps them central in the barrel. And here the lights working
  21. Think I'm down to appox 4-5 weeks then postage waiting, waiting, waiting,
  22. You could use a softer metal too, a coat hanger works well, allows the rings to still be a bit pliable
  23. Use your eyes you must lol
  24. Well said, the more you find, the more you know you have sooo much more to learn lol
