  1. Nice pink it matches you're eyes LOL. I would try to rotate your bells forward if you could seems to be a large gap between them and the chest, otherwise looking good. Be safe and look forward to you completing you're build.
  2. Looking good but seems like you have added you're tube stripes on backwards, the curves should face forwards, they also look are a little low on too. Nice job on the ears, most of the screen lids had terrible gaps on their lids, I found the ears the worst thing to attach. Also make sure you rough the surfaces with sandpaper of the abs on the parts you are going to glue, helps them to bond better. Glad you got over the initial shock of cutting the first pieces, I know I had the same trouble, keep up the good work
  3. Doesn't seem to happen in Australia, had two orders and neither where opened, customs must be a bit more lazy here
  4. Yay it's not just me LOL
  5. I am just about to glue mine, I also asked the question and it seemed most went of the 1 large tab and 5 small. Doesn't sit quite right on ATA armor so I may need a little bit of heat
  6. Thanks Tony, going to try a few combinations, you're one is first Thanks Jay, just made another belt with the y pieces, will try both see which sits the best. Going to add side split rivets and elastic in ab and back tomorrow so should be just about ready for a full trial fit
  7. You're build is going great, good work, btw toffee for me too thanks
  8. Was on the news here in Aus when I woke, couldn't believe children were involved, just don't understand what some people have in their heads, it's just senseless.
  9. Just playing around with a few ideas for holding my thighs up, I have a nylon belt with clips, I also have some elastic braces too which I may incorporate. Read a few posts with people saying their thighs don't stay straight so I may use the Y brace idea.
  10. Looking good, can never have enought magnets or clamps. I have 20 magnets and could have done with another 20 at least LOL
  11. Pretty much any scifi for me, Star Trek of course and all of them, well after Next Gen it was downhill for me, old stuff like Space 1999 , early and late Battle Star Galactica and some early UK shows, Blakes 7, UFO, like I said pretty much anything I will give a go. I am a NERD, but I will be a cool Nerd as there is nothing cooler than living a childhood dream and becoming a stromtrooper
  12. LOL thanks Jenny Wasn't happy the way the belt sits so added a few snaps, had to sew a small tab on the centre of the belt so I could have a snap in the right position.
  13. The sniper plate was a bit of a pain, took ages to get it to just sit right and cover the shin so it was not seen from the outside and follow the original line.
  14. Thanks Reza hopefully won't be long, seems like that long wait for armor was worth it after all LOL
  15. You will need them if you are building an ANH (a new hope) version, if you are building ESB (empire strikes back) or ROTJ (return of the jedi) then you will have to look at some of their build threads to see if they are needed, all my research has been for the ANH version. Maybe before you go any futher you should have a read through some of the information threads and research what you would like to build and what would be needed http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/38-getting-started-read-this-first/.
  16. It's the metal cylinders in the picture below, wires go from the back of these up to the counter
  17. Hope you can sell off you're other pair, I'm sure you will enjoy your TK Boots, mine arrived a few weeks ago and I was very pleased with the quality. You're lucky they had your size in stock
  18. Last pieces of velcro glued to the calves, still need to do some final trimming of some pieces but will do that after my first fit
  19. Thanks Jenny, don't think you're that far behind, I have to keep going as I get bored easlily, local garrison members said I can build their armor if I get that bored LOL
  20. Thanks Michael, will give me time to iron out all the bugs. I can see I am going to be walking around my place kitted up alot before then LOL Ab plates glued on
  21. Great info, it's amazing after all the years FISD has been around that this info is only just coming to light. Well done Vern and congrats on you're 4000th post
  22. Last strips on the thighs glued, also adjusted and glued the batter packs
  23. Found it was easier to get the right coverage on the teeth just with a brush as the hight and taper of the teeth varies. Keep up with the good work
  24. The belt is so much better, good work. I used the same foam in my lid, very screen accurate
