  1. I thought it was just me with a t-shirt obsession, I'm a nerd, yay and I'm a peep too. I think Big Bang Theory may have little something to do with geeks starting to be a bit cool also, yes I know they are not scifi, but they are geeky about it
  2. If it's the wait for armor that puts you off then don't let it, well worth the wait and lots to purchase and build before it gets deivered to you
  3. EBAY a place to spend lots of money on things that will never get approved, well not without a lot of work. Stick to the makers that are mentioned throughout this forum and you can't go wrong
  4. Thank you all for the kind words and support, still got the biggest smile on my face, cheeks are starting to hurt. I couldn't believe when I applied for 501st clearance last night that I would be trying for EIB today (and maybe another level next LOL). Who know's where it will all end, may even see about putting my hand up for a FISD Attaché, not sure how many of them are over here down under
  5. Thanks Eric, still smiling, cheeks are starting to hurt LOL
  6. Ah yes measure twice cut once, good luck, will be watching to see how you go, I would like to tackle stairs one day LOL

  15. Had a feeling that I should wake up this morning and stalk my emails but 3am was a bit early LOL. I can't believe I am finally here, I am approved and a TK at last, could just yell, scream, dance, jump for joy, Oh the neighbours sorry lol. A big thank you to Mathias and all of you who have helped along the way and for the supportive comments. Proud to be a part of such an awesome group of people.

  24. Thanks Nicky, well on my way of learning I have managed to provide some info to help others, think this happens to most on their build journey. I have had a great time with this armor build, from the start of being scarred of the first cut, to the end with the final fit up, it is amazing how much you can learn in such a short time, but there is allways more to learn
