  1. Looking good you could try to get the top of your bells to come in a little more at the top, maybe pull your thighs up just a little as you have a lot of black showing at the top. Apart from that you are looking great, nice work .
  2. Can you post your photos into this thread Troopermaster is who you seek
  3. A few pictures of the finished binders and the different versions I am making.
  4. Don't want to pick but your cover strips are not that nice, the one on the right biceps seems really narrow. Usually the cover strips go up to the ridge edge also. Think you should check the sizing of them and also get the to go right to the edges
  5. Looking good all the best for approval
  6. Problem was it was just for the story line, Luke needed to be able to talk to C3PO and also needed the grappling hook to swing across the abyss, when all is said and done no other trooper is seen with a grappling hook so it was just used for the hero Luker version only.
  7. The yellow foam method is screen accurate and works great
  8. Every little bit adds up int the end, keep up the good work
  9. Should really introduce yourself first, but in saying that have a look in the getting started section that will help you. I have seen helmets made by bondo, foam, cardboard fibreglass and milk containers, depends how accurate you want an armor to be but to troop in the 501st you will need an approvable armor and lid.
  10. So waiting for some paint to dry started on my holster. First make the template Glue some vinyl back to back so no backing is shown, then cut to size Try blaster for fit, will check fit again after stitching the side can trim more if needed Just have to sew the sides, add some rivets, snaps and the hooks
  11. Because they A don't want to be confused with dodgey sellers and B they get enough work just from this forum, currently ATA has a 7 month waiting list.
  12. Crossing fingers all ends well
  13. Hey the turtle won at the end lol. looking good keep it up
  14. Have you tried contacting Vern http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/22546-ap-te-style-thermal-det-aluminum-clipsw-hardware/
  15. Very cool, green with envy
  16. Good luck with the build, the start is allways hard, don't be afraid to ask questions but go ahead and make a cut it will put you to ease
  17. Just a little more square in the corners would be good but it's only a personal thing, you don't have too. I think we are all happy we get two sets of ears, they are a pain lol
  18. I do like the satin, on my blasters too, gives an new but old look if that makes sense
  19. It's going well a few more sections and you will be there
  20. Very nice photo work
  21. Very nice trimming, well done
  22. Thanks guys, sometimes I amaze myself $55 AUS for binders and pouch but not thinking about selling overseas as yet, there is someone on the 501st producing them . Rare earth magnets, tried two sizes and it is amazing how strong even just the 5 x 3mm are.
  23. Looking good, yer just a bit more on the teeth corners a little squarer. Looking forward to the rest of your build good luck
  24. NO LONGER AVAILABLE Had a great response at my first troop to my binders and was asked if I would makes some for others, so thought I should live up to my squad nickname of Q and start producing. Also had an enquiry about the pouch to hold them so I best make some of them also. Here's a few photo's of how things are progressing, up to 9 orders at my local garrison lol. My original pair And in the pouch Start of pouch production First 6 sets before sanding A couple of request for chain instead of solid mount and also ANH Chewie binders, working on those. Trying a couple of different chains. First run in primer Base coat applied on first run of binders, copper coated ANH style binders done. Will need another coat then I will apply a couple of coats of clear to protect the base colour.
