  1. Took me about 30 seconds to feel comfortable, no pinching and very easy to move in, think it was getting use to the clattering that took the longest time. Oh and reallising after 10 minutes of have photo's taken with the public that I didn't need to smile as I was wearing a lid LOL
  2. Looks pretty dirtly, well done
  3. Congrats on approval Tom, well done now it's time to troop
  4. I like the clatter, mind you with my lid on I don't really care LOL
  5. As above, a few minor fixes and you should be fine, good luck.
  6. Congrats trooper and welcome to the ranks
  7. Not sure if this will help you
  8. Primer rubbed down, now a silver base coat. And now the first coat of satin black
  9. finaly got around to finishing my holster, that's what happens when you try to do too many projects at once lol When I can get my hands on some leather I will try make a more molded looking holster.
  10. Don't you love it when you recieve a parcel
  11. +1 good luck with the build, hope to see a new centurion in the not too distant future
  12. Managed to get a few more details added, grip will never be the same as the original but Leia will still be happy with it. First coat of primer is on.
  13. Wow now that's dirty, looking good
  14. Acetone will melt ABS, I either used polish or just rub with your thumb works well. If you wet sand you will have go up in finer grades up to 1200 then buff with polish, that is the only way to get out scratches.
  15. I had enough magnets and clamps so I glued both inner and outer strips on one side first, left it over night then glued the two strips on the other side. Your kit is coming along nicely keep up the good work
  16. Thanks guys Bit of bondo and sanding and cut the slot in the front muzzle
  17. There are a lot of ways to attach eyes, silicon, double sided tape, I glued small pieces of plastic next to the lenses, then screwed the lens to these, makes a nice tight fit. Side note if you leave a little gap it helps to stop your lenses fogging up.
  18. I use the electronics from cheap plastic toy guns $5 then add a pair of high-bright led's in the barrel for a real nice glow and a micro switch, on some i have even added a small laser in front, looks good when you can see what you have hit, kids love it.
  19. Got the use of a lathe and managed to get the front pieces with the fins made. Glued on a few more details be ready for some filler next.
  20. My Leia was complaining that she didn't have a blaster so here we go yet another blaster build This is what I am aiming for. Started with this $2 toy gun I found at the Reject shop, closest thing that I have been able to find for now. Strip down Found some plastic pipe for the barrel Filling some sections Of course it has to have sound and light, using a blue hi-bright led, set for stun can't have her killing any of us Just making the sights
  21. Looking good, they came out well
