  1. Looking good so far. Just a tip if you use a masking template for your tube stripes, first give a white coat as this will act as a base so if any bleeds under the template it will be white, not blue.
  2. Looking good Lee, keep up the excelent work
  3. Congrats and well done trooper, welcome to the ranks
  4. On a side note, found there is enough material for another Jawa costume so I may make one for myself, got someone making the base for a Tusken Raider, so that will be on the back burner. After a conversation yesterday I may also look into an Imperial Guard, and a Galactic Marine. Should keep me going for a while, oh and more blasters ;D
  5. Photo's of our random photoshoot here A pic of the Jawa costumes I made Oh and that is a yes for the Ion Jawa blaster build, got the wood shaped and just getting some of the plastic pieces on the lathe so I can add some grooves. They have two different blasters so there may be two builds
  6. LOL it is amazing how we all get hooked and end up with side projects, allways thinking of what is next, Jawa blaster build at the moment, Hero lid conversion to an ATA, more submissions over at IOC for my higher levels of officer and a few variants. Oh forgot be helping with a biker scout build, lots of sewing there lol
  7. Congrats and welcome to the ranks trooper
  8. Congrats trooper and welcome to the ranks
  9. I haven't had any armor bites as yet, either it is my frame or the way I build my armor, trooped twice and onto my third this weekend.
  10. I made my own foam piece, there is a template on the forum, works great for me and also have to small blocks of foam on the sides to stop my lid from moving around. Just a tip glue on some velcro then you can just pull the peices out ant through them in the wash, my head gets pretty sweaty sometimes even with fans
  11. Very nice work, keep it up
  12. Nice build trooper you did the research and now it has paid off, well done on approval, welcome to the ranks
  13. Very nice, I think the brow may have to come down a little as there wasn't much of a gap between the eyes and the top of the lid on hero versions..
  14. Or you can cheat apply some heat to both sides, put some pressure on it and make it into a more oval shape, did that to mine and it worked a treat.
  15. I am not religous but still my thoughts go out to those who need the support
  16. Yes larger rear cover strips are aceptable for EIB and Centurion
  17. Jason pointed you in the right direction, I have seen quite large back shims on legs and arms, try to keep your front shims the normal size and modify the rear
  18. Congrats and well done, welcome to the ranks
  19. Looking very nice, keep up the good work, won't be long now
  20. Congrats and welcome to the ranks
  21. Looking good, all you need to really set you off is a grappling box, hook and comlink, but not needed for apploval
  22. From what I have been told there should be the one large ridge and 4 to 5 smaller ridges on the chest plate, but on my ATA I could only fit 3 small due to the shape. Nearly there won't be long now
  23. Thanks everyone ATA provide hero ears you just have to ask for them when ordering. John was not doing any bubble lenses when I enquired, I just asked others who where making hero lids where they got their's from and managed to get some from a guy called Steve, he was very helpful. I also got a pair of lenses for another member in my garrison from Paul "troopermaster".
  24. Some detail shots of the teeth mod And close up
