  1. Wow I would like to be freezing, 39 deg c forcasted for Christmas day here -------------
  2. Thanks, I use a ulead gif animator, you need to make seperate pictures first with small changes then merge them in the program
  3. Try getting on to your local GML, I think I was lucky with mine, it was approved over night, hope you get it soon .
  4. It's hard when you are so excited and all you want is to see that, Yes, you stalk your emails, the forums and evey new post, LOL, hope it's not too long away. Remember deep breaths and if that doesn't work then a large beverage of the brain dulling type, fingers crossed
  5. I know what you mean, I am now waiting on Centurion approval and the suspense is killing me. Hope it's not too much longer for the both of us, we may be able to get sleep again lol
  6. Well the world didn't end so I thought I would find some more accurate screws for my TD
  7. I have seen some who still like to paint their lids and try to go for a real screen accurate build, chips and all. Good luck what you decide
  8. OMG I hope I get spproval before the world ends, just heard on the radio it's going to end at 7.11 pm local Perth time today. At least i got to live my dream and become a TK before i die lol
  9. WOW it must have been cold, you've got your red long jons on lol. Awesome photos well done
  10. Sounds great I do like a bit of lens action . I have been trying to find a company here that would make aluminium folding stocks, they are just too much work to make by hand. Not had much luck but then Perth is not exactly huge.
  11. Sounds verry cool, any plans on making the scopes, if so could recess both ends slightly to add glass, perspex, magnifier etc
  12. I am pretty sure you will be fine. Also sometimes you can cheat a bit with a little heat to make oval pieces into round, or vice versa. Good luck your going well
  13. Don't get too down, happens to all of us at some time or another. I have the 3am curse at the moment just can't get any sleep. Any chance of a photo, may have a fix in mind Too late, Jeremy beat me too it LOL
  14. Make sure you glue one side at a time, I did find that the strips are angle out so I had to apply some heat to get them to lay flat, had to do the same for my calves as the velcro was hardly touching in places. Try some heat on some scraps first, get a bit of practice then attack that forearm
  15. I also glued one side of each piece at a time, slow going but worth it in the end. Heat does work but test on some scraps first, there is a point where you can go too far and it will just spread like butter, ok maybe not tha bad but it does get soft. I had great succes with heating and squashing in the forearms a little. Depending where the mis-cut is you may be ok, you will have the cover strips, hope that is enough to cover what is wrong, let us see a photo. The maganets I use a very strong and work well, they are 3/4 inch, downfall is when you get a finger stuck between too. Don't stress we all make little mistakes along the way, good luck
  16. Coming along nicely, looks like you may have left a bit too much material on your outer cover buttons on the belt, they look bigger than the centre one. Keep up the good work
