  1. I've not had that feelin myself but I would think feeling the air across your face from fans could help
  2. Think you will find that most armor used on the films are from outside source not from any vendors
  3. Nothing better than big brown boxes, good luck with the builds

  6. Looking forward to the photos and build
  7. For me the ANH was the first time I had seen the iconic armor so it was the one for me, but I have now done the ANH Stun and Hero versions as well as an ESB, I do like the black teeth, BUT I just can't bring myself to do a ROTJ version, squished helmet is just not for me.
  8. Fabric mesh should work fine for behind the teeth, I've been using fly wire mesh, very similar.
  9. Very cool, thanks for the link
  10. I carry mine butt forward, easy to grab with the right hand. I also find the scope sits in better that way, but I did make my own holster to match.
  11. I also changed the barrel and added t tracks to my earlier version Hasbro, makes it look more accurate with the right length and light showing through the barrel holes. Build link in my signature
  12. Off to a good start, ATA is a long wait but well worth it in the end, plenty of time to do some research and other builds
  13. Another great read, thanks all involved
  14. Nice work it came out great
  15. Hello and welcome aboard
  16. You will have to ask for 501st status upgrade first http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16-501st-trooper-status-requests-include-link-to-your-501st-profile-in-your-request/
  17. Hello and welcome aboard, you will find lots of helpful build threads to follow
  18. Hello and welcome aboard
  19. There is a member in our garrison who purchased both fibreglass and ABS kits, he prefers the fibreglass but did mention he had to make some modifications for accuracy. I personally prefer ABS, lighter for me as I have a few medial issues . Any armor would still need to be painted so really it comes down to price, accuracy and availability, licensing may also be an issue depending on the mouse
  20. I have a few emergency bits I carry, super glue, hot glue, elastic, snaps and tape, I've only used one piece of tape for myself so far in 3 years, one snap plate pulled off, I've now replaced the plates with double snaps in those areas. I've used my emergency kit more for other members who don't carry anything .
  21. Hello and welcome aboard, have a read through the Getting Started section, lots of info on armor sizing and maker info there.
  22. Have a look on the RPF (replica prop forum) there are a few guys there making armor
  23. I think you would find ABS would be lighter and stronger. To get strength with 3D printed pieces it needs to be thick, the plastic can break quite easily. You would also have a lot of work to clean up the print, even with a fine print there would be lines left which would need to be sanded and filled. There is also the cost and time, 3D printing a blaster alone would be 125-150 hours roughly, I can't imagine how long a completed armor would take.
  24. Feces Neutralizer, Fecal Incontinence Refuse System Treaters.
  25. Now completed a few troops with the baton, fans seem to love it, even if I don't have it extending. With hope the no blaster rule will lift soon I've started work on my JJ Armory resin kit, I also have a 3D printed blaster to build and another resin kit on it's way. Squeezed in the electronics, filled, sanded and primer applied On to color coats Detail color added More details Assembled and glue drying Sound and lights in action Also had some time to get my shield done
