Are you sure this is how they take the yellowing out of my armor
-
I have found a couple in places, I rough up the area with course sandpaper and cut and heat to mould a piece of abs plastic to the shape of the area, then glue with E6000, has worked great. As said above post some photos so we can see the issue.

Photos will definitely help, also look at some of the other builds on the forum, they can be a great guide

Accessories in gear to add to a standard TK
gmrhodes13 replied to E-Ren89's topic in Boots, Soft Parts, and other Accessories
You could add some binders (handcuffs) or a different weapon (DLT-19) -
Bobbyns Build Thread - Anovos - ANH Stunt
gmrhodes13 replied to pmatherne's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
You can add slightly bigger cover strips, usually these try to keep stand sizes on the front and make the backs bigger. Really you are better putting pieces together with tape and trying them on before you trim. Good luck with the build, looking forward to the progress -
Captain, My Captain Phasma TFA Build Thread
gmrhodes13 replied to Royal Rebel's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
As I said on our forums Patricia it's hard to size down armor, difficult to adjust some pieces and leave others, I think your chest, back, ab and boot covers will have to be sized down as they just look too big as they are. If you look at the CRL photos and compare some sections like the width of the shoulders in alignment to the helmet to yours you will notice the difference. Also the gap between chest and ab boxes. Cod is very large and it will need to come down in size just so you have enough clearance around your thighs. It's a lot of work but will look much better in the end with the right sizing. I know this is not a TFA build but Diana's build will show you how much work she had to do to make an OT set of armor look to match her size http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/25919-dianas-rs-props-build-anh-stunt/page-5 Just keep comparing how you are looking to the CRL, I am sure you will get there in the end. -
Good luck with the build, looking forward to the progress

Have a look at some of the build threads, most of us use ABS plastic armor but hopefully your kit has the right details included

Nice work, nothing worse than waiting for that BBB

Sounds like you are off to a good start, looking forward to the progress

How do you cut your screws?
gmrhodes13 replied to Stormy3D's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
I used pliers for one helmet, the other I marked with paint, then removed the screws, put on a couple of nuts below the mark, locked in a vice and cut off excess with hacksaw, then cleaned cut with a file, then removed the nuts. -
Pretty much the same as the standard Stormtrooper helmet, info here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/38598-black-series-stormtrooper-helmet-for-rogue-one/ ----------

With your pricing I would either do a pipe build from scratch or get a Hasbro and a doopy doo's add on kit. Really depends on how accurate you want it to look, I went the extra yards with my Hasbro build, I cut off the barrel and replaced with the right length pipe, drilled out all the holes and added T track, a high bright led really shines well through those holes in the barrel and easy to connect to most blaster electronics. It's nice to have Hasbro electronics but you can also tear some out of a cheap $5 toy blaster found at most cheap shops or ebay. Adding an amp jack which can run to an aker amp helps them to be heard at large conventions nicely. Lots of build threads and templates can be found in the blaster build sections.

Definitely run it by your SL (squad leader) or CO (commanding officer) you may not be aware that they already have a contact with who you are wanting to troop with, they also may already have troops being organised with them. Here we must have a working with children check card which a lot of charity's ask us for if we work with them, rules are different all over the world so definitely speak to your garrison command.

SE-14R holsters - what is everyone using?
gmrhodes13 replied to Daetrin's topic in ANH (Stunt and Hero)
Certainly did, it's made from two pieces of vinyl glued together as I couldn't find the right thickness of leather locally, bit expensive over here, then folded, sewn and straps with cap rivets and snaps applied. Build thread is here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/25093-se-14r-build/page-2 -

I'd stick with vetted sellers in the getting started section
