2. Looks good, just watch your TD and bicep/shoulder placement
3. I wouldn't trim any of your pieces smaller than the ridge size for cover strips, I use some foam in my biceps and forearms, my thighs are a little loose but the elastic strapping I find helps that.
4. I stuff material in my boots while they are stored in my box, helps keep their shape. Not bothered with a treatment on them, I do like the odd scuff or mark.
5. Make sure when you trim pieces you try to keep the trim lines as straight as possible, will help when you glue them together and won't leave gaps in places that won't be covered by a strip. I found even trimming my forearms to the minimum coverstip size I had to glue in some foam as they were quite loose.
6. I used spray paint primer grey as I had it handy then gave it a coat in spray clear. Found that easier as it didn't leave brush marks.
7. Thank you Clint for your time and how you have addressed this. Also thanks to your garrison mates for supplying their armor for you to compare.

At this stage I think it only prudent to put a hold on my FN build.
8. I will be putting this build on hold while waiting for a response from Peter to not only my concerns but also those raised from Clint's FNArmour Analysis, his thread can be found here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/38117-clints-fnarmour-analysis/page-1
9. Both wouldn't hurt, they take a bit of strain in you are an active trooper
10. Received a reply from Peter about the clips. "I did not make the clips personally I outsourced the resin parts to another person as I vacuum form only. I will contact the person directly and ask them. Give me a few days on this"
11. Correct, glue front cover strip and stretch open, some also glue an inside strip to give more support. I have not heard of anyone having issues with this method
12. Just to make everyone aware I did send Peter a copy of the comparison photos but have not received a reply as yet.
13. Don't panic yet . Helmets are not made mirrored and they can sit differently on both sides, gap on one side and not on the other. From your photos it does look like your faceplate could come upwards and also forward at the chin. Also the trim line on the front of the cap does not look straight, may need a trim so the brow trim sits a little higher, will allow the faceplate to come upwards. I would advise using magnets to hold everything in place, not clamps through the eyes as that will push pieces apart. Remember if you have any gaps on the sides the ears will cover these. I found referencing others builds to be a great help
14. Looking much better, I would still try to reduce the gap a little more
15. Happy to be of help, looks as if the ear now needs to come down to meet with the cheek
