I've only had one resin helmet with a thin area, I added some fiberglass resin and matting to the area, NOTE only add a small amount of hardener as during the curing stage it can put out some heat. You could also use JB Weld or some other type of kneadable glue or even bondo (automotive filler) but again with any 2part system watch out for heat transference

Someone has to build the costume to completion then it is reviewed against reference material and if everything checks out they may then be considered as the CRL model, there also need to be a CRL written before it goes before LMO review. From the new to the legion costume guide: Typically as much time will be spent researching and looking at reference sources as it will take to make / assemble the costume. Ideally, there are clear full body pictures of the front, side, and back. Understand that a CRL undergoes many revisions by many people before publishing and that it is possible that there are multiple people working on the same costume at the same time. There are no guidelines on creating a new costume aside from reference material, and a costumer may be asked to change things multiple times. The costume will not be approved in the Membership Database until all of the steps to create the CRL are completed. The wait period from completion of costume to approval can be lengthy. You will find that a lot of armor kits are not the same on both sides, just the way they are made. I must admit I've never noticed the slight angle on the ab/cod, but that wouldn't really make a lot of difference to the gap, it's not only at the cod you appear to have a gap, it also looks like at the top of the ab as it's pushing the chest out quite a lot. I have build an ATA for someone and did cut the sides down a little so it fitted better on the front. Try to overlap the ab and kidney when you have someone to assist then take another look.

Someone has started on a build, I believe there are some 3d files for the pack and flamethrower although I've not checked their accuracy

Looking good so far, you do have quite a bit of space between your cod and body which also pushes your chest out so it ends up on an angle, you may want to try to overlap the sides and tape up again and just to see if it improves the look. Here's just a quick compare with a random EIB applicant
