  1. Trimming any overhang is fine, you can also trim down more return edge if you wish for comfort
  2. I've not been through every blaster to see if they meet L3 requirements. Ultimately it's up to the buyer to check those details and then entirely up to the DO's as they are the ones who look after the higher levels approvals @Deployment Officer Team Note with any 3D blaster the L2 and above CRL specs are: 3-D printed blasters can not contain visible print lines, and must be sanded smooth for a more realistic appearance.
  3. Yes 16mm. Also note the fall of the tube stripes at the front
  4. Not that I've noticed. Mine are fine after 10 years of trooping, albeit I added a small amount of silicon to the inside so they don't catch on the undersuit. For anyone needing to remove split rivets this is a great How To
  5. It does happen on some makes of armor, you can trim the ends to match, make sure the fronts meet and adjust the back accordingly
  6. It's how I generally search, just type a few keywords in Google's search box and add the word "whitearmor" or "whitearmor.net" on the end then either use the links or look in images
  7. Depends on how much return edge you have, you just need it to wrap around that, the smaller the gap the less movement you have
  8. Nice work. Yes rotate those biceps a little and bring them up, you can then space the gaps between your forearms and handguards as they are just touching. Drop boxes not quite at the end of the plastic belt Posterior pushing away from kidney, either tighter strapping or V tabs Helmet I only have a piece of 5mm soft foam so the helmet isn't too far above the head. With a heat gun you bend strips of ABS plastic into the shape of a V, only glue one side and the other remains free to allow movement when you bend. Just helps stop the butt plate from pushing back from the back plate. Check the gaps and endcaps on your TD gap looks a little small between caps and control panel Not far to go now, you are nearly at the finish line
  9. Congratulations and welcome to the ranks trooper. You can find list of E-11 suppliers here. There are also some excellent 3D files is you have access to a printer
  10. Generally we try to add any larger cover strips on the rear as we are mostly seen from the front. I would however contact your GML in regards to widths, some are a little stricter than others so worth a check.
  11. Was definitely worth those updates by the maker, great when a supplier get's on board and takes feedback positively
  12. Inner soft gloves are a godsend, even for those 40deg C (not F) troops
  13. Photos would help You do have the option of adding temporary shims and remove once you shed the weight, you can wear temporary shims for basic and L2 EIB. A few threads
  14. If you are making a Phasma you could post in the build thread area and start your own build thread https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/197-captain-phasma-build-threads/ Not many use the Do3D files as they were found to be not very accurate. Clips are too square and oval holes appear too big. You may want to check against some references depending on what version you are making, you can also check the FOTK photo reference areas as many pieces are the same BUT there are differences with the clips on TFA to TLJ. You can request files for the clips here
  15. Looking good, great to hear you had an amazing time Many can't sit but a few of us can depending on armor and gaps, you should still be able to sit on a corner of a table or arm of chair.
  16. You can trim down the post then use a hacksaw to cut down the rest of the post until the desired position (or cutting disk on rotary tool). Yes the single kidney snaps is known as the "Han snap"
  17. Nice work you many want to try and tighten your strapping from the shoulders to the shoulder bells as there is a bit of a gap there, it gets bigger with arms behind you in this image
  18. You are still welcome to check out our ROTK area for supply list and references Aún puede visitar nuestra área ROTJ para obtener listas de suministros y referencias. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/162-rogue-one/
  19. Hello and welcome to the forum Mimban Trooper is homed over at MEPD so you may have more luck there for reference material. Good luck with the research and the build Hola y bienvenido al foro Mimban Trooper tiene su sede en MEPD, por lo que es posible que tengas más suerte allí para obtener material de referencia.
  20. You can only attach so many pictures on this forum, many of us use a free online image host, this may help
  21. You can also bend your plastic belt section so it follows the armor better Although I use a heat gun not a gas torch
  22. Looks pretty awesome, I would however perhaps bring the logo down a little, appears to sit central to the orange are and the under arm strap
  23. I'll tag our DO's @Deployment Officer Team as ultimately it's they who decided on what's acceptable for L2 and L3
  24. Happy dance. Looking forward to seeing your progress
