  1. Well have a read through the Imgur tutorial once again, I do remember a few people mentioning some mobile issues a couple of times and I think they finally where resolved, Imgur has a habit of changing things without telling anyone, link here:
  2. Congratulations trooper, well deserved and welcome to the FOTK ranks
  3. Looks like you added .jpeg as text to your link needs to be the full address. You can also right click on the image in Imgur then copy and paste directly into your post, should have the full link with extension
  4. We do get very buys for May 4th so it really depends on what garrison covers your area and how many requests they have, locally we get requests up to a year in advance. You can also find your local garrison here: https://www.501st.com/maps/
  5. I've waited longer for an undersuit. Oh and many waited for Anovos for years
  6. Your image above does not show, using the link with the file extension normally will show, it's just how some forum software works, as an example I posted your image earlier using the .jpeg and it worked
  7. This can happen with ordering from time to time, people get busy in their real lives, he's been a long time supplier so I really didn't think you would have any issues. Very hard to be patient when you are excited and unable to receive answers to questions
  8. It's much easier to add reference with the text rather than going off forum looking for a specific image, makes it easy to follow. It's also good for later when referring back to the CRL creation and updating when new reference material comes around.
  9. What has been done in the past is to add a reference to support the text, especially for questionable areas or items and especially when we are putting a requirement on pieces/details of a particular piece. I've not had time to delve deep into this CRL at this stage as I have a convention next month and trying to get some items finished.
  10. Nice, try using the link with .jpeg or .jpg on the ends
  11. No how to, I posted it in a few threads previously, it's been shared across a lot of builds and EIB threads With a heat gun or oven you bend strips of ABS plastic into the shape of a V, only glue one side and the other remains free to allow movement when you bend. Just helps stop the butt plate from pushing back from the back plate.
  12. I don't use the app, I prefer to open a mobile internet browser and upload, copy/paste from that. Joseph's tutorial should cover mobile uploading. If on computer (or mobile browser) once you've uploaded to Imgur you can just right click select copy and paste the image link directly into your post/thread. Normally there are a few options for links to your images I find the "direct link" works best for me.
  13. Rough guide on strapping and placement, some use double snaps in case one fails. Chest to backplate A couple of threads for you interest You can find a lot of info for builds in this thread
  14. I agree on the pants, seen a few images showing the same color as the undershirt Uniformity across CRL's is a good idea Gloves I would suggest it be the same as L2 of the ROTK CRL Gloves Black in color, made of Nomex, leather, or leather-like material, with no visible straps or logos/designs. The fingers are enclosed, non-textured. Rubber ANH style gloves are not permitted. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): The base material of the gloves will be a black synthetic material similar to Lycra, Spandex, Elastane, or Nylon. Palms of gloves shall be shiny black fabric or leather or leather-like material. On the index finger shall be a stitched piece of fabric made from the same material as the hand's underside that while stitched to the finger has one cutout towards the end of the finger that reveals the netted material underneath. Gloves shall have the correct leather pattern along the fingers/palm. Hot Toys glove reference
  15. How prone are the pieces to scuffing? This project is going to take months to complete. I know the armor is going to get scuffed when worn, so how careful do I need to be during construction? The armor can scratch easily so take care how you handle it. You do get scuffs over the years, especially forearms as they brush or rest against the armor, some can be polished but some are just too deep, when mine got too scratch (10 years of trooping) I converted to a Sandtrooper and built a new Stormtrooper. How prone are they to cracking? The set I have is ABS. I think it is 90 mil? How worried do I need to be as I shape the parts? It seems like they need to be handled pretty roughly. I really don't want to have to buy replacement parts. RS is a little thinner than other armor makes, just take a little care how you handle it. Also depends on how active you will be trooping, the more bending the plastic has the more likely it may crack. I have been assured several times along the way that the RS kit is a good size for me. I weigh 175 pounds and I am 5'-9 1/2" or so. (79kg and 175cm) Any reason this shouldn't be the case, now that it's too late? Most armor will fit your size Speaking of the above, I intend to use metric in this build, as most of the tutorials do. Unless that's a bad idea for some reason. No issues using metric, gallery area also has metric A great thread full of helpful links for building
  16. Some kits of snaps come with some tools, a post and base and you use a hammer A great thread on snaps Most information you will need for building you will find in this thread
  17. Looking forward to seeing your build progress. You can find a lot of helpful threads here You can also check with references in our gallery sections https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/category/24-anh-tk-reference/
  18. Hello and welcome to the ranks trooper
  19. We recently had an EIB and Centurion rockers sales thread, you could check if there where any extras. Like most merchandise we don't keep it on hand and comes out in runs throughout the year/s
