  1. LOL I've already been in "that" situation on a personal basis, don't need to erm go to Paris to take that photo if you catch my drift.
  2. Nice work. Purely cosmetic but wondering if your shoulder bells could come in a little closer to your chest straps? Right bell more so it looks like in the pic. Ps. Remember me? Was that guy that helped you fix your strap in the hallway at GenCon
  3. We have a fun weekend planned this Sat we'll take some pics of our TK armour party!
  4. Cool kit, I'm really tempted to grab one now. But I think I have to wait a little. Is this the one from ImperialSurplus? I can never get the first names straight on people.
  5. Hey Steve, the chest piece is the part that bothers me the most. Do you find it too small? Also I don't feel that the undersuit is completely black. Would like your thoughts on it.
  6. Hey Gep! I literally velcro my boots to my shin - keeps them straight and I haven't had this issue you're showing right now.
  7. Hey you'd want the evapor one for heat. It makes you feel naked. And when a breeze hits... oh baby! You won't need the cold wear one because unless you intend to march at the Santa Claus parade, 90% of the time you rather be cool.
  8. Yup, I've seen that CRL. It's rather "thin" on requirements. I really want to do this as accurate as possible. And the CRL doesn't really help. Right now I'm just relying on lots of screen shots and stuff for research. I've seen Kevin's armour as well. I think it's a good start. I think I will have to go in that direction Ingrid. Buy it and then will likely have to add detail to it. Even some EL wires and stuff just for fun. But unlike my TK, I'm in no rush. Want to definitely enjoy this build.
  9. Yup, I was just saying it in the spirit of uber-accuracy but they are a great find. Just make sure that the ankle part is high enough to tuck into the shins which it looks like it is.
  10. Yup I have actually. The thing is that there's no CRL for it. So right now this is a pet project that I'm in no rush to complete. I suspect to do this character right will take about $1000+ ...
  11. The "U" is a little low but if Mathias says it's good then I guess it is.
  12. It's a Sith Acolyte from Star Wars: The Old Republic. Entrance at around 1:28 All I have now is mask and robe. Lots of work to be done but it sure is fun running around pretending to force choke people.
  13. Hey all I just got my Mynock Sith Acolyte Mask (#002). Just wanted to fool around in it. Still waiting on Mynock to actually make some armour *ahem* because his work is exceptional. Obviously need to alter the robes etc. But that's going to take some time. Really liking the character and I hope to make some progress over the next year or so.
  14. You could... but that would be the way more expensive option. But I do understand why you don't want to shim.
  15. LOL nice to see you guys on FISD. As you can tell Andrea, Charles, and I pretty much live here.
  16. LOL awesome job Ken! Saw the pics on Facebook very cool.
  17. Just the beginning clamps! Lots more fun where that came from.
  18. Hmm, I'm not sure where all these front nozzles are coming from these days. This is the second application in two days with the same issue. Anyhow - great build imho just those small fixes and presto!
  19. No, it's just a waste of time when you can be building towards EIB or Centurion instead.
  20. Could be your volume or your position of Aker in chest is too high. Just a thought. We'll check it out in two weeks.
  21. Hey Nicky, as for amp - put it in your chest and you can tuck the wire under your armpit from behind and into your chest.
