  1. Cool okay on Friday, we can glue all the pieces etc. well as many pieces as we can - some need to dry before we glue others on. ps. If you have some popsicle sticks or something handy we can use to glue stuff with bring them. (Mind you the epoxy will trash whatever we use to glue with - hence popsicle sticks etc.) I'm all out here.
  2. Tingly is probably not good. They arent clinical compression wear. Compression in their sense is probably more like form fitting. I would becareful if it is making you tingly. Maybe too small?
  3. That looks like a great fit! Now we just have to get your E-11 up and running.
  4. Damn bro. That is looking really good. Some of the more experienced guys might comment but I think your gaps look great especially in the first photo above.
  5. Hey Charles, where did you get the split rivets from? Locally? Are they 8mm? I'm starting to plan for EIB/Cent.
  6. That beach looks amazing. I need to visit one day!
  7. Definitely not AP (depends what you mean by "bigger" height or weight). From what I've seen RT, AM would be better. AP is really made for screen sized troopers without too much tailoring. 5'10, 150ish lbs.
  8. Done bought more Eastbay stuff for the wife and me.
  9. Yeah the logos are conveniently placed where you dont have to colour them out like the UA ones, and for half the price... I'm thinking of getting some more for my regular work-outs even.
  10. I can't believe I was IN Montreal and completely forgot about this ... grrr...
  11. Andrea I was thinking about your helmet lifting issue. Stupid question, have you put padding into your helmet yet? Because that would lift it a bit higher. I don't recall seeing padding last weekend.
  12. That looks pretty cool, mind you I assume you're getting a new spring from your friend because the old spring in the last picture has the turns a little too wide apart imho.
  13. I was handling a fellow trooper's AP helmet last weekend and man was it ever beautiful. That's another one to check out.
  14. OMG, Snailtoes is an awesome alias.... I have to use that one in my next story. Jimmy Snailtoes.
  15. Well done sir and very clean/professional.
  16. I used to publish a gaming magazine and books under my company called Bigironvault, now I write comics with the same company name. I've diversified. haha.
  17. Looking great Andrea! I'm going to be calling on you for help soon I hope.
  18. Great thanks! That's the info I was looking for. I think I have a few of those lying around.
  19. And here it is. I'm finally satisfied enough to put down the paintbrush finally. Still a few things I want to do like switch out for real bolts in the front and the wiring. I know it's not completely screen accurate but I sort of like the way that it looks battle worn. Besides will be using this primarily as display prop more than trooping I think.
  20. Work In Progress: Some updated painting pictures as I start to lay some paint on. And something special I'm working on too... a DL-44... Grip still needs paint etc. etc.
  21. No problem bro.
  22. Woah! No offense meant there Michael. Just saying that you can find Hasbro's for way less than a DD kit because I read your post and it sounded like you thought a Hasbro was just as expensive to get as the DD (because on some websites people overcharge for a Hasbro big time). Sorry if it offended you. I guess it's how text comes out when it is written and not spoken. Back to the real point of my post - I don't know if you can gut the Hasbro and make it work with a DD?
  23. If you can afford a DD, you can afford a Hasbro! Keep an eye out I've seen some for as low as $20 floating around. That being said the guts of the Hasbro does seems quite large and the small and narrow cavity of the DD "seems" to make it nigh impossible to do what you intend to do... unless someone can prove me wrong.
  24. Thanks guys! Obviously more detail than I thought of but that's the whole point ain't it?
  25. Heya, anyone have any advice on regular household products or items that could make for good E-11 wires?
