  1. Yep, clamp your metal ruler. Mine has some stupid cardboard backing so I flip my ruler upside down and clamp it down. Don't worry about the top of the bicep as the shoulder bell will cover it like you said.
  2. A warm water bath to bring them closer will help. Glue in a square of ABS behind it and it'll be flush.
  3. That's alcohol abuse! Drop and give me 50!
  4. I don't get paid until the 3rd so hopefully they don't sell out the day they go on order.
  5. Your thighs could be re-sized a bit tighter. You can see the rear of your right thigh has some noticeable gap. You should also take a hobby iron and smooth out that return edge some.
  6. You have plenty of room in the bucket for electronics. I use a hard hat liner and I still have room to stuff all the stuff Tony sells.
  7. Remove the bottom of the shin's return edge. The part that touches your boot. You'll save your boots! The top part don't mess with until you do your fitments and determine return needs to be gradually cut back for comfort/prevent armor bites. Congrats on your BB day!
  8. Always keep extra in my storage bin.
  9. I had to buy one for the helmet and belt. Been using it on my TD pack lately.
  10. That's exactly how I did my mortar tube pipe for my pack using the same TD caps that came with my kit. Quick work with a dremel
  11. I've seen a few guys have a separate case for their backpacks but it's a bit overkill. I just wear it on my back and roll my small husky container
  12. I use velcro exactly for the reason you stated. I know it's not screen accurate but velcro works for me.
  13. Sometimes you have to bevel the edges of the pipe to get the caps to go on.
  14. I didn't know about fully extending the handle at the end. That's probably why I keep having to take a flat head screw driver to pry the inside a part so I can get the nail out.
  15. You make re-creating return edges look very easy!
  16. Awesome work so far. Enjoy the build!
  17. Walt's Trooper Factory! Look him up on facebook
  18. The ab plate does but not a lot. Might end up with a 1/8" or so return. Luckily the chest covers it. The kidney doesn't necessarily need one if you go with the snap strapping method.
  19. Pick up a hobby iron from amazon
  20. Yeah I have some I'm no longer in love with, that's for sure. I also have a 1/4 leg piece started of Invader Zim mural that will probably never get done. I do get lots of comments on it when I'm wearing shorts in the summer though. Just haven't watched the show in 10 years+ lol.
  21. I rather have an expensive tattoo that looks amazing than save a few bucks and get mediocre. Usually once you establish business with an "expensive" artist, they will start hooking you up. It's been closer to 10 years since I had any work done. One day I'll finish my chest piece and start my star wars sleeve.
  22. Why is there no return edge on the top of the ab plate and kidney?
  23. I got the XP-3 in the mail today and wanted to show it off. Here's the spec sheet About the same width as my work iPhone 6 About two iPhone 6 thick though What concerns me is there isn't a visible lead like there is on the XP-5 jump start cable. I'm sure there is some inside this housing but want to ask Tony if it's worth breaking into before I do so. I'm the Ginny pig on this one and plan on doing the setup exactly as Tony has except a bigger battery. My garrison tends to do long troops or more in one day and the last thing I want to do is change batteries or my fans die on me.
