  1. As long as it doesn't protrude farther than the snaps do, it shouldn't be a problem.
  2. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/article/37-howto-create-a-bicep-strap-hook/
  3. Just upload it to YouTube and post the link here. It will automatically embed it in your post
  4. The photo of your left side makes it look like your shoulder portion of the back plate is either sitting too low or could use some heat bending. I also noticed that your shoulder bells look like they are riding a tad high. You'll see in a photo how they are sticking up a little. Bicep hooks will help stop that.
  5. Once you got it through the belt, put some tape or even a bead of E6000 and it won't scratch your ab plate.
  6. Make sure you request to have your status changed here. Add your ID # to your profile too!
  7. I'm worried if E6000 will be able to withstand the tension. Looking forward to seeing the end result and they turn out!
  8. At least its warm down there if you have to do it outside!
  9. Interested to see how this turns out. I've never seen this done before. Were you not able to reshape that portion of your calves? I went with velcro over the original hooks because it's easier to put on and take off. The zipper setup looks like it would be even more difficult by the looks of it.
  10. My emperor has a strong force pull with any of my imperial credits. My padawons also take up a lot of those credits too!
  11. I was just thinking about fabricating myself a bracket too as we all await Echo's return. Your setup came out awesome!
  12. Tube stripes came out beautifully
  13. It's very time consuming but worth the effort. Looking awesome!
  14. I know how that goes. I'm definitely following your progress. Feel free to PM me if you need any help. See you in the dunes soon!
  15. Wow, you're lucky! I just need Echo to catch up and send me a bracket kit with extra switches so I can wire it up. Hopefully while I wait, Tony figures out a better solution than using the USB drive to regulate voltage. This is some cool stuff that's overkill but I never settled for "good enough" in most cases.
  16. You could do that as well, just make sure there some kind of support brace in the back as well as the main shim too.
  17. Remove all that return edge by the wrist
  18. Not going to say I told you so, but I told you so Come back to it AFTER you've got your basic approval! I wouldn't even bother filling in the seem if you may potentially replace the whole shim with ones that extend past the pre-notch length. You got this!
  19. Looking good! Best not to rush the paint job and you're showing real patience in between coats!
  20. Yes, use E6000 in case you ever need to replace worn out snaps.
  21. It really doesn't matter what you use because no one should be able to see it anyways. I used nylon because it adheres better and no way was I going to take the time to perfectly cut out rectangles and drill out holes. Cut a piece of nylon, use a soldering iron or heat up a nail, poke it through, set the snap, and glue in place.
