  1. Yeah, I think so too. I didn't put either on, my buddy did. Paint I can probably get off but the stripes will have to stay. Don't want to try and remove them or buy new ones.
  2. I know it's not, but in the close ups the texture on the gray looks like duct tape. Good luck with your fine tuning.
  3. It was actually just yesterday, minus the trimming. I had all the trimming done and with his expertise he and I both thought it would pretty much be done. We ran into several assembly tools, (i.e. adhesive and snaps) problems.
  4. Sadly the build did not go as smooth as expected. We got the bucket done, both biceps, one forearm, the shoulder straps on and snaps onto the shoulder bells, chest and back plates at the shoulders. We will finish up next Saturday.
  5. Just do Dragon Con, I hear it's better!
  6. Can an admin please correct my spelling error in the title?
  7. Here is my armor . It is all trimmed and ready for the build tomorrow. Hopefully it will all get done and I will take pics along the way and post them.
  8. Just my $.02, make it the E-11. I guess you got it due to the Star Wars connection so why not make it look like the movie? Either way it is a super nice gun.
  9. And my question is answered before I can even ask it.
  10. Looks great! The shins look a little high but otherwise looks fine to this newb.
  11. I paid $10 for a T-ball helmet at Target and cut out the foam and that is what I'm using.
  12. I stand corrected, as I have not seen this. I would agree then that it might not be a bad idea.
  13. You don't want to clearcoat the blaster!!! It's not suppose to be shiney that would make it look plasticy. 100 post!! Yay
  14. I highly recommend eastbay.com. At last check they were still having 2 items for $30 +shipping. Mine came to about $38 all together. Very comfortable and light for warm weather. If you need they sell cold weather too but I think they are more.
  15. So I cut to that length. If I slide the end caps on the control panel touches each end. Am I missing something?
  16. Cool, thanks! Eyeballing it I thought 12" but putting up to my back, that was quickly not right.
