  1. The shins a really flexible and should not be a problem. The photo of the thighs is on the previous page you used for holster reference. I used chicago screws on the holster, hd has them.
  2. The rivets, did you put a washer on each side, this will keep it from pulling thru the belt. Thighs can be notched in the back on the knee, like the above photo's. Sniper plate, the glue probably didn't set up fully, you could peel the glue off and sand both surfaces and glue and clamp the hell out of it and let it set for a few days.
  3. Those look really good, there is no picture of the back seam on the boots . I am not 100% , but nice find. Good price to.
  4. My tk boots pretty comfortable, right out of the box. Are your boots loose fitting.
  5. Looks like fun, I really like that corridor shot shot. Where was it?
  6. Very cool to see this photo make it to the newsletter. I know you guys that keep this site going are very dedicated and WE really appreciate all your hard work. tk4516.
  7. Its your destiny, Nice armor!
  8. Jim has them for $5.00usd, if that is the problem. Mine when out last year.
  9. I think the brow is fine. In ANH the brows were higher on some of the stunts. This shot shows off the sexy face plate. Oh I almost forgot, Welcome Will. ---------- I am am big fan of the low brow, but when it comes to the stunt helmets the higher brow is it for me.
  10. There is a tiny battery inside the icomm that needs to be replaced every year or so, depends on how much you use it. You probably all ready know this but I wanted to make sure.
  11. Just take your time. What I do is assemble the helmet, then take it apart and paint the parts individually. So if there is a problem you won't have to repaint the whole thing. I am curious why you didn't get an RS helmet with your armor.
  12. Undo the crotch snap and see if that changes the position.
  13. By a little more work I was hinting at having to paint the helmet white. Most helmets are abs and you don't have to paint them. Not to worry, painted helmets look great. I have been trooping with a cap west helmet most of this year. The cap west helmet is on the left.
  14. To much tension on the crotch strap can cause problems. From your pic's it looks like part of the problem. Plus as said above the armor is sitting to low. I also have an NE kit and very happy with it.
  15. I have the iComm and have used it many times over the last year and this year and have not had any problems. The romfx has more adjustments, so you can fine tune everything, I broke down and bought a romfx, hope to get it soon. If you decide on the romfx contact him soon, because he is finishing a run now.
  16. Good luck with your build. I have a few of scootch's helmets and they are a little more work, but well worth it. . RS armor and CAP west helmet, I haven't seen that combo yet. I am sure it will look great. The details on the face plate are really sharp and have the ANH look.
  17. IMHO the duracell 9v last the longest, around 5 hours. The cheaper batteries just don't last.
  18. I would use 1 battery per fan and put an switch on each one, that way you can use one fan if needed. 2 fans are good for really warm weather.
  19. Congrat's on your armor, fits you really well. Which material did you choose pvc or abs.
  20. The first hero you see in ANH, really stands out from other hero helmets, and now I know why. Thanks!
  21. I would evacuate those helmets to support maintenance ASAP, then get ATA on the horn.
  22. Amazing work! My favorite hero in ANH.
  23. Save all the trimmed off abs and use the pieces for cover strips, it will match the armor better. That is the left shin, by the way.
  24. Contact MightyTank on these forums for NE armor, Some parts are accurate and some are not, I would definitely get a lite kit without the helmet and get the helmet from another vender. You can trim this armor down to fit you, thats what I did. There are plenty of choices, RT-mod is good for tall thin troopers, but the price is more. TM would be a great choice as he makes longer leg parts for taller troopers again its more money but well worth it. Contact the armorers directly and they can answer your questions.
  25. They wont look right if there on the wrong legs, there is an inner part and an outer part to each leg. Most people won't even notice. I put my shoe on the wrong foot sometimes.
