  1. Andreas, Here you go:--------------- Sorry it took awhile since I was at work and just got home. Did you get your armor yet?
  2. This is great info on the shoulder bell/bicep piece connection. The RS Props armor I have has no connection between the shoulder bell and biceps so it tends to twist and drop down a lot. One thread build made a hook out of an ABS(?) piece and glued them inside the bicep piece. The bicep then hooks on the elastic strap of the shoulder bell. Are physical attachment like those against EIB requirements?
  3. I am excited and in the process of applying to my local garrison and the 501st. I just need to do a bit of fine tuning and I'm set. One of the things I noted was that my bicep armor piece likes to twist and go down a lot. I've seen someone glue a make-shift hook to the bicep armor and hooked them on the elastic strap of the shoulder bell. Are there other methods that come to mind? I don't have a spare abs/pvc to try and remodel to a hook. Thanks again!
  4. I chose PVC as it was recommended to me. I plan on trooping as much as I can. It was a PITA to put the armor on by myself. It included with a lot of contortions by the armor and myself.
  5. Just as the title says. These guys are quick. It took them about 2 weeks from when I spoke with Andrea to when it arrived. The armor looks great although the helmet looks really delicate. I know it reflects what the guys used in the original but I am definitely going to make it some adjustments to it and make it sturdier. Looks like there are still some trimming I also need to do on the other parts as well. Anyways, first time wearing a full TK armor and definitely is hard to move around and see. Not sure if it's the fitting or it just need some getting used to.
  6. I am on the same boat. Big head and eyeglasses Just got my eFX bucket just to play with and I had to remove some foam to make my head fit with my eyeglasses but squishes them painfully to my eyes. Short term solution is probably put padding in front of my forehead and remove the back foam for now. Hopefully, my RS bucket would be the same or larger! If not, then I will try to check these thin press on optic films.
  7. I am having mine assembled by RS Props. I am new to prop assembly and probably not very handy with these kind of things. However, I will be doing some finishing touch ups and I have an eFX helmet I bought (aside from the full RS armor) that I can experiment with. I assume it would be nerve-racking cutting and assembling a ~$700-$1000 kits. I also live in a tiny apartment and do not have the room to do full armor build Electronics is a different matter and have some light background in it.
