  1. Fon aka Chris on here did a run of this a while back. Drop him a pm. Joe
  2. There are quite a few versions of the RT, he modded it a few times and then included the cast TE face plate. Joe EDIT: The cap/back looks GF to me. Weird....
  3. If you are going for a background helmet look do square ended frowns, otherwise you need a round edged frown. Joe
  4. I'll take as many as you have left. Sorry I couldn't get you templates, the new owner of my old helmet wasn't very obliging. Joe
  5. That is very sexy! I love Jedi helmets. It is interesting how different it is to my moulds, this one is much more ANH/ESB as oppposed to mine which is much more lop sided. Joe
  6. Nice to see adult discussion. Keith and Evo you are a gents. Good men. Joe
  7. Keith did a Jedi helmet from an ANH kit. He posted pictures on the RPF, might be worth looking there. It is totally possible, you just need to heat and manipulate the plastic in certain areas. Joe
  8. CAP issues aside, that is a nice helmet. I like the display too! Congratulations on your degree, I did my law degree as a mature student and it is a great feeling to finally finish. Joe
  9. Humbrol was used on the originals too! Joe
  10. Very nice, can't wait to see it finished. Joe Edit: The frown on my background helmet and JB's and the Propmasters are gloss black, but the hero helmets seem to be a flat black, or just a very faded gloss. So I would go for gloss for new and flat if you want an older weathered look.
  11. That is a TE ROTJ, no doubt at all, probably from the new run. His Jedi helmet was one of the ANH/ESB style ones so not as squished looking as the version 2 helmets. Very nice. More pics please! Joe
  12. QFT, that is soft and not accurate and probably a copy of a RT MOD. Plenty of better hemets out there you could buy. Joe
  13. Has anyone found a good source for black pastels for scratch and scuff marks? Or what do you guys use. I am weathering an HDPE chip reveal helmet, not a sandy, to look 30 years old... Thanks in advance. Joe
  14. Thanks buddy and congrats to you too. I am seeing a financial advisor very soon!
  15. That armour is amazing! Wow just wow! Just trim the ears a little and that would be perfect IMO. Joe
  16. Thanks for all the kind words. I can't believe all the fathers to be on here! Congrats to everyone. This is my first so it will be life changing Due on the 3rd of January 2010. Joe
  17. Just found out I'm going to be a father. Now I will have an excuse to get a TM Junior. Will have to get my skates on with the Jedi helmets, I'm sure there will be no time for plastic in the near future! Joe
  18. I took a cross section cut of the S trim from my Jedi helmet. If anyone is interested I have scans of the piece..... Joe
  19. Great paintjob, I love the rough, original, weathered look. Joe
  20. Sweet pic buddy! Looks amazing. Joe
  21. Cool picture, thanks for sharing. How do you get a trip to the archives? Must be so much fun. Joe
  22. Very cool T! Have you ever been in Dog the Bounty Hunter, I could swear I have seen you on TV? Joe
  23. I've always wanted this too. Is it possibly from furniture stuffing? Joe
  24. Brasso worked really well on my original Jedi helmet, that was ABS and had 30 years worth of yellowing! Joe
  25. Wow I love it. I want one! Thanks for sharing pics. Joe
