  1. Very cool! But what about the EFX Stormtrooper armor that should be released some day? I suppose yours is identical with what EFX will offer?
  2. Very cool videos! Easy to follow explanations for everyone who is interested in a RS armor.
  3. I'm not sure about that. There is a site called Master Replicas but from what Gino said they don't have anything to do with old Master Replicas neither with EFX Collectibles: http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1125295-3/#post19728541
  4. Resin is brittle and quite fragile. The t-tracks were made of ABS. And indeed not rubber.
  5. "No statement should be believed because it is made by an authority" - Robert A. Heinlein

  6. Resin? I think they are plastic, ABS.
  7. The only good looking thing there is the Jakks Stormtrooper on the lower right
  8. You need to raise that brow a bit.
  9. The wonderful metal stands made by Rob: For the MGC ROTJ E-11: And we have to remember Andy (PlayfulWolfCub - PWC) intends to make some great E-11 metal stands too: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29898-quality-metal-e11-stormtrooper-blaster-stands/
  10. With the extra money the Legion should start building a third Death Star
  11. That is how the helmets were made, so it is accurate. See here how Luke turns his head when taking off the helmet in this classic scene:
  12. I have an imgur account but it has some limits to it compared to photobucket
  13. This is a VERY cool piece!! I'm really thinking of buying one of these in the future. They might not be as accurate as I would like but a real MG-34 is a big no-no here. And I'd prefer this to any resin one, even if the resin might be a tad more accurate. After getting it I'll need to do my research to find out what parts are needed to make it more accurate. Maybe someone has some parts for sale. BTW what lengths would the t-tracks need to be and how many needed? Though seems not all DLT-19 had them
  14. I think we'll see the ROTJ TK's and SE Sandtroopers there too
  15. Photobucket had issues like these years ago too. They even forced many users to get out or buy paid subscriptions. Then they realized it was a bad move (unlike Webshots who went down after doing something similar) and tried to fix the issues and added more space for free users as well. But errors are quite often. Too bad there is not a good free site to compare to Photobucket yet
  16. Since we know that the Hengstlers were simply glued on the body of the E-11 and on the scope I think the cylinders were glued too. And many Hengstler counters fell off during filming, and you can still see the glue residue as in the pic below. The CRL asks for both cylinders and counters to be up on the blaster to make it more sci-fi and "starwarsy" as the ILM artists wanted in the first place. The Master Replicas Stormtrooper blaster is beautiful but it is really bare bones, by lacking these two cool greeblies.
  17. Pretty nice lid. A tad too sharp and idealized for my taste, but for the price and as a mass produced item is quite ok.
  18. 501st is for fun, to help with charity, to make children smile. So a remark like this is not ok Michael, sorry.
  19. I own the MR CE as well as 8 other TK helmets: RS, ATA, AP, TE2, SDS, EFX LE, CfO. And there is not comparison with the others, sorry, MR CE helmet is a nice idealized symmetrical licensed lid, but that is all that it is. If you want somewhat accurate MR CE/EFX PCR is not your best bet. I still keep it though as it was my first 1:1 helmet.
  20. A superb build. I really like your attention to details T-Jay!
  21. So I guess your only OT TK helmet so far is a Rubies, MR/EFX or Hasbro? All very accurate....
  22. The moment the first Anovos armors will arrive this thread will explode with a more spectacular effect than both ANH and ROTJ Death Stars explosions together.
  23. Exactly. For display personally I'd like the best and most accurate out there, but for trooping the most comfortable but still reasonably accurate. I think Anovos fills in the gap of licensed armor, because Rubies is not what I'd call a Stormtrooper armor, unless adding the term "clown" somewhere. So Anovos might not be the most accurate out there, but could be very good for trooping, since it is made by a costuming company.
