Oh ya, I forgot, got some mail today, my DoopyDoo E11 PVC kit, and that DL 44 kit they got. I was lookin at it and think'in Every trooper should have at least ONE shoulder holster! I'm going to use it with my EU trooper armour....(if my stuff ever come's!!!!! )

If this is your very first build? Then Very good, and why can't he get EIB with the blaster he has now? You don't mean he has to get one T track done to get it? One silly track? (seem's a weee bit picky to me)

First, if they used any "real" guy's+armour in the updated SW yes, it was just older ROTJ stuff with some replacement part's. The "Seal" trooper's never did on screan stuff. What was done was one (and yes he may have been Seal) real US soldier was hired to do some "action" posses like run with weapon, hold/aim/fire with weapon, in general do some stand/sit/prone with rifle, as he was "filmed" for CGI stuff. You know when they glue the little white ball's at main point's on your body the get movement shot's for a program to play with. They CGI'ed a Clone Trooper over him, stuff like that. They made in the program big battle action shot's of the clone's fighting the Sep droid's

Well I do like the very "gloss" look it has. But 1) will it be...well cheap feeling to it. Like it some kid rap's your leg will it feel/look mushy. 2) The big thing is will it yellow. you say painting it is all but out so will UV brake down the white of the plastic. If I walk around for long I need a cane so lite armour is nice to me but not thin, so 1.5mm would be nicer I guess. How do you "strap" this together? How heat resistant is it/ Will some one smoking a cig near you outside set it off if he brushes against you? (will it burn E/Z?) And last the Big question.....How much??????????

I hope you get to see this before you paint. I say if the leg' part's are ready to go the do Not paint the other part's. Have the lower blaster pack and knee plate painted first then fix them on. You may get paint build up in the corner's for one, and may get small paint crack's around the edge's. from wear. But it's up to you, and what work's for you as you build. I if I can paint part's first then fix them together. My .02 cent's. (remember Test Fit all part's befor any painting or glueing. Test fit the blaster pack before paint. The knee plate is better to work with but still test fit)

An old first pull FX set would look far closer to what may have been "on set" in '76, then this .........stuff. It's all from top down home made....and I seen better one's! Yup, this guy's full of it. (but I do give him point's for having the gut's to post this)

Hmmm well, X-Wing, and Dark Forces made me keep up-grading my old 486-DOS 6.what-ever, and the TIE Fighter, lot's and Lot's of TIE Fighter. I can still see/hear in my head that so cool sound/look of the E11 power-up. Then Dark2 came out and I liked to game over-all but the look of the game was like a bad acid trip!

I sure hope to see a pic or two soon. The one part of the TK kit that's the hardest to get is the boot. "Daddy can need a new pair of shoe's too!

Where you say/show your booboo's, I see that it's very small ones. Let the paint stand and dry total (that's paint take's up to a week or more with the more paint that the spray can's pump out. It cure's over day's from the top in, so it take's time. ) Then just do a little buff with 1500 grit wet/dry and then re-do.

At the Tandy site, I typed "belt clips" in the find here box and got a page with 7 clip's listed. Two look close and one was even black. Which one???????

Hey Troop's. Because I was feeling a bit off today and didn't pick up some flat black paint today, I spent some time trying to find any thing on up to date US vs Can Military rank equivalence. Any one know a link, ect on this?

Look's close to same as C-Boot's to me.

I can't remember but when I picked up my first "Paint-a-ble" boot, I got them from "Men's Work Wear World", near me. The boot was black but other then a small "lip" on the toe, very close to the TK boot. I did them up for TD armor, and got my Caboot's at the same time. The paint up boot's had a company tag with info on it. AND a web site. They made mostly riding boot's and work type boot's. They did do a woman's type of boot that was very close to tk type. But I just can't remember the name or find that #@$% tag! I'll keep looking for it and if I find it will ask about what they can and can't make.
