  1. Well, take some of the main info like title and who made it ect. and other info, and look it up online, see if they have it on DVD now?
  2. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, if you note at the start of SW, the boarding Trooper party had the back of the shin plates free float. I do think that the wire is to help keep the plates DOWN as the actors run in TK gear. But others may know better.
  3. The two trooper BFG's I like the most 1) DLT (but that's now done!) And 2) the MG 15, so will keep watch on this as you go! Remember....lot's and lot's of way-cool lights/sounds as ya can get!
  4. Yes,all the above is very true. The big thing is wash/light sand/wash again after 24hr in/or at room temp and sand again. I have a portable air conditioner that has a dehumitifier(bad spelling)setting. I let it go for 24hr at that setting and heat up the room for a bit before painting just to have a warm dry place. Also try (if you can spend the $0 a small air brush and try useing water-based paint with it. The air brush is better then "spray cans" for a lot of stuff. You seem to have done better then most for the first armour set, just re-sand, try the stuff Pand listed and remember to Wash lots! And I mean good scrub not "wimpy" pat with rag! But use soap like dish soap, to get greasy stuff off.
  5. Because the HDPE stuff is very "out dated" with all the new high-tech ABS,resin and other plastics that stuff is not as in high demand as it was 30 odd years ago, and I would be surprised if it is not made in a few more short years from now
  6. Well, sent a few Imp-cred's........could be me in the same spot......
  7. This is more for others here into military history.I have been going over some of my old files and stuff for my release, and with luck, found an old CD with some pics of myself. On 14 Aug 2005, the final parade for the last Canadian WW2 Victoria Cross winner, Sgt "Smoky" Smith was held. For that day about half of the city of Vancouver's down town core was all but shut down for his memorial parade. In the pics you see me, red beret, providing parade escort/close protection for the , at the time, Minister of National Defence. I was assigned this duty because I'm(still) Military Police. Other Sgt or above military members where assigned to other Ministers. Also you see Sgt Smith being pulled in a WW2 gun truck. The VC is the same as the Congressional Medal of Honour.
  8. Same here, if you need, just ask! remember "An Vode"!
  9. Hmmm, I just been looking over the "junk" bin, then seen this, my junk would work well with what you got here, hell near a full TK rig!
  10. What can I say......I would like to go on a rant about how we let our world go stright to hell, but that's not that much help to ya.......BUT... if you PM me your add, I'll send you a bunch of spare TK parts to you if you like. It would be a grab bag of stuff, but it would help me out just getting some room freed up
  11. Looked at the web site just now....no on-line ordering....guess that's let me out
  12. I sure will try!...I even found a store bought cane that may work out and not look all that silly So what will the "troop" be? What are you planing on doing? Thanks Daetrin and Julie...say you going to fly up to Panda's lil "Trooper Party?
  13. Hey All! Not been doing much because I've been working on my med release from the CF (Canadian Forces) Today at 1500 hrs (my time) the adjutant of my battalion, (we'll call him Captain 'E")was called and told .." The Commander of Land Forces West, would like to inform Sgt S (that's me ) has here by been granted a 3B Medical release as of 15 Sept 10, or sooner if the Sgt would like, from the Canadian Forces, and to inform him that on behalf of the CF he would like to thank him for his 29 years of honourable service and that, bla-bla-bla So Capt E is now going to start all the "paper battle" all this has. He dose, and I agree, suggest I take the 15th Sept date because I'll get my full wage and benefits till this date. It's also dammed near a full year towards my pension! A very good thing! Now what that really means is I now have to spend most of my time for the next few month's with more med exams interviews and stuff like that But I'm also going to use this as my entry date to my "new" army...the "Fighting 501st!"
  14. I still have about 2 weeks or so till I get mine in the post! I'm stocking up on all the do-dads and build stuff we spend far too much on! But I'm going to aim for a TX as my "join-up" rig. Then my 1/2 done white TK
  15. For the last say,2 years, I must have had stuff come to me from all over. Most of the EU, and all over the US. If I have to ship stuff from Canada, I use the EXPRESS Post, and keep all shipping info. Canada Post is not to bad to ship out from, it's "getting" stuff in. Some times Can customs is OK. But at times a real B#^ch! Thy let one thing buy and no duty, then the next week will ding me for some $25.00 part! To/from Can to the UK is buy far the better place. The US is next. If I can (and it can get costly) I'll use UPS or the other guy's for shipping to the US. All most all ways it customs on both ends that you get hold up. I like UPS because you get a full statement with all info from a small letter, or armour parts. It list all what you sent. And they keep track better then Can Post. I long a'go gave up on "F-U Bay". Got burned bad about 3 years a'go and wil never deal with them again. Now I guess I should get back to my re-due of the re-due of the re-due shin parts!.....or read a bit more here
  16. Gee thanks Bro,that just about covers the bulk of my "would have" post
  17. Girls who like to be called "dude"?????? I must be old
  18. Trooper's Rock...Jedi NOT!

  19. See...See....I told ya Troopers are HERO's! Enforcers of the Law! Where would we be without the Law?.. ..Very cool clip
  20. Why is thing's like this never at ...oh...say BC Place??? I mean, I'll trade in some lousy thing like the Olympics for it
  21. A 3D SW? Hmmm and you have to have the goofy blue/red eye wear? What a waist of time and money. Out of one side of his face he tell's any one who will listen that "Star Wars is dead" No more SW movies. Then he pop's up some where with "Re-Do" the first movies. The a re-done set with the real or first characters replaced with CG and have it end up looking like crap. I can see doing some re-work or adding thing's he couldn't do in '76 but he go's too far. CG can add some good support to a movie, and if it's all 'toon then ok, but he's trying to replace all with CG. That's why the trooper's in the first 3 look far better then the clone's on the big screen. And I luv da clone's! No Uncle George, do new movie's not re-makes! And I think that the Clone Wars stuff on TV show that you can have a SW subject move that's about any thing other then "Jedi" and do very well.
  22. OK....the odd man out again....as I type this I'm waiting for some CA glue to set on my abb/cod part's....I have never seen this kit before so.........where ya get it from lad! (the woooshing sound you hear is my bank acc nearing M/T..... )
  23. This was a number one fav of mine till "IMPS" came out...and part 2, so this one is now #3 with me....
  24. I started collecting SW stuff just before EP 1 was out. The pride of my collection is a first run "Dew Back" patroll, AFAed at 80 NM (near mint) and at Brian's Toy's the closest one they have to mine is listed at $800.00 US. A $1000.00 G's for a , let's face it, fan made helmet? Even I'm not the nut's to pay that much!
  25. I am not going to look.......I am NOT going to look!.......There is no fear...only peace......There is no FEAR only peace........
