His user name here on FISD is "troopermaster" and you can send him a message right here on the forum. Find the messages thingy in tapatalk to do so. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Looking for troopermaster

Yep. You're thin so all you'll likely need is his extra long shins and it should easily fit you. Send him a PM to ask sizing questions -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Who is near a Disney park that wants to pick up a couple of these for me -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank you for your patience. We're working on it. For the moment the TFA builds are only viewable by 501st members. If you need to request access to those areas please post here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16-501st-trooper-status-requests-include-link-to-your-501st-profile-in-your-request/ -Eric

You can PM Slavefive (Lewis) of Hyperfirm here on FISD. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I may start a poll to see who thinks I should change his username to Danny. Welcome and get to work. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

For now the costume remains a TK since it lives under the FISD umbrella. Who knows what will happen after December? -Eric

I have a doopy and I'm happy with it even though I never troop with it. It looks good as a display for sure. If you want a resin blaster for accuracy... and if people are happy with Derrek's latest mold improvements... I would rather buy from someone in the Legion and an active member/contributor of FISD than doopy. Also building a blaster is super good fun. I have a resin pipe kit from a local NEG member I bought just for the build. One day I'll actually do it. I still say get both a rubber and resin blaster -Eric

HOWTO: Make your ANOVOS TFA kit more accurate
Darth Aloha replied to SolderMaster's topic in TFA Stormtrooper
Pretty interesting stuff. I don't think we could ever write "must have sharp corners" into the CRL for L2 or L3. Plus... The public will never ever notice. I know that centurion isn't about the fan's view of us but right now that is my focus for this costume. Maybe someone clever should start offering replacement parts for the anovos suit that are 3D printed for those who want squarerer boxes. Either way I love the all new information coming to light and resulting discussion. Especially Tony's obsession with accuracy and replication even if it means he's a little pissed off -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Most folks have covered the topic well but for me I'm not a blaster accuracy guy. I often carry my Hasbro because it makes pew pew noises. If you want an accurate blaster the Derrek's resin action is the way to go. What I like about my hyper firm is that I can literally throw it around. I was once trooping and a special needs girl was excited to see us but freaked out at the sight of our guns. I tossed it immediately away down the sidewalk and she was all smiles after that. No way I could do that with a resin blaster. I say if you can afford it get both. I've also lent out a spare blaster now and then which makes me happy. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dr. Bender's blaster and blaster rifle images uploaded. I also added his undersuit photo (and an undersuit section because I forgot it) but that suit is not required for basic approval. -Eric

Having the fiddly to trim TD thinner doesn't sound like a bad thing -Eric

Congrats man. Your GML posted your photos on the legion site for review. I wrote something like "Oh just approve him already. He wrote the CRL!" -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What does the bounce back message say the reason is? -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you can find a good source for that I will change the CRL asap. Until then my panda bear blaster better serve up blue Slurpies. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I guess technically E7-11 -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sept 2015 All, As of today we have a new recipient of the FISD Achievement Award: Clint Randall (TK-61281) At some point during the development of the First Order Stormtrooper CRL I realized I did not have the wherewithal to finish what we had started. I contacted Clint and asked if he would lead the charge. And lead he did. If it were not for his diligence, dedication and perseverance the CRL would not be green today. As the Alpha 75 TFA TKs were building their kits a private forum was opened for everyone to post build photos and ask questions before Celebration 7. Clint was the binding force during the arduous and quick build. He pioneered building techniques, kept us organized, and cheered us on. While that all didn't occur on FISD Clint embodied the true spirit of Troopers Helping Troopers. He continues his thankless work here on FISD with his build thread and helping other TFA troopers get up and running. So thanks Clint for saving my CRL butt. -Eric Clint's TFA Fu is strong. -----------

The CRL is now green. Wider announcement to follow. -Eric

I think I'm done for now. Images updated with Clint's most recent versions. Some text edited per Krista's input as well as Drew the SoCal GML. For now I left the blaster wording totally bland for now. I'll add images soon for the blasters and expand the wording per Germain and Zedebee's awesomeness. I am still on the fence about the pistol until better reference material emerges. Das LMOmeister has been notified that I'm done dicking with it. He can edit and make it go green as he sees fit. -Eric
