  1. Ok... I'm unlocking this thread. Is it possible to keep it open without huge amounts of nitpicking negativity with a side of repeated and redundant wild speculation? I hope so. -Eric
  2. Somewhere between craftsman and artisan lies Clint. -Eric
  3. Have you seen this sawzall attachment to shake rattle cans? http://www.amazon.com/MixKwik-MK2-Tool/dp/B0055S7DJS I think Irish Pete of my Garrison used one for his TFA TK. -Eric
  4. LMO says I'm clear to add the OR about seams in thighs and biceps. I'll try to do it next week. My todo list is a bit full at the moment. If anyone's GML gives them crap about seams send them to me in the mean time. -Eric
  5. Ah. Word. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. No way dude. Most of that stuff (if seen) can be level 2/3 stuff someday. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Nice! Target has the black series of the riot trooper. Picked it up today. -Eric
  8. Yep. We know about the seams stuff. If the CRL gets changed before the release it will move to either/or wording. Stand by. -Eric
  9. Mathias did you grab the snowy helmet photos too? If not. Please do. -Eric Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Locked for a while until people stop posting irrelevant nonsense and fighting over... well I don't know what everyone is fighting over but there are a lot of strong opinions happening. Lighten up everyone. Plastic spacemen. We are plastic spacemen. There is nothing at stake here. -Eric
  11. Yeah man. I've been giving that a lot of thought and I think I may talk about negativity and wild speculation and dance around the A word. I'm not sure I want to fuel any more anovos talk on our forums as is. I might talk about CRLs and morale a bit to dance around fluffy rabbits and puppies shucksting on rainbows. -Eric
  12. That's how it usually works yes. But I think we can get a jump on some of the wording now so we're ready to make tweaks and get people approved ASAP -Eric
  13. Scream all you want... not gunna happen. I suggest ending the discussion sooner than later about CRL changes. -Eric
  14. Yeah screw them with all their kneeling and sitting. I scoff every time I see one pull their cell phone out of their pocket to take a photo... or lift their bucket up to take a drink. -Eric
  15. Nice work trooper. Way to have the right attitude when striving for Centurion -Eric
  16. Now that I think about it... I would probably leave something like that at the bottom of my bin... requiring a scout to bend down and get it for me anyway. -Eric
  17. Yeah that's all I need is another reason for bikers to tease us. Put that blaster down! Blasters are for closers! -Eric
  18. And bubble lenses and frown teeth There is a lot to laugh about with the legion's CRLs. Having TD placement in a higher level of approval is barely chuckle worthy. Ever read the snow trooper or biker CRLs? Whoa boy they're a hoot. If accurate TDs were more readily available I would consider putting that in the L3 CRL someday. If I were a crappier DL I would lock and hide these threads to improve the tone and morale of our forums. I may be a jerk sometimes, but not that big of one. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Brick? Do you really love the lamp, or are you just saying it because you saw it? -Eric
  20. Hmmm. I've been in such a terrible legion mood lately. Let me see if I can turn that around and write something up. When do you hope to drop this one? -Eric
  21. Well... I guess I'm one of those people in authority... and I bought one. I'm excited and uncharacteristically optimistic about it. For a couple reasons... The first reason is, as you put it, the big influx of TKs because as I'm fond of saying my legion heart is made of white abs (behind Vader's chestbox these days.) Nothing says Star Wars than a metric butt-ton of TKs at a troop. That's what fans recognize. Why do you think scouts are forever being called stormtroopers and Tie pilots being called Vader? They are icons of the fandom. Take a look at all the Star Wars merch packaging. Who is featured? Does it look like some of the details are too sharp? Maybe. But who cares? I do not think fans will care or notice. Remember the fans? That's why we do this stupid hobby isn't it? Not for us. For the smiley kids of all ages. The other reason is that I enjoy building TKs. This kit won't fit me but once I build it maybe it will fit someone else. So everyone just relax. If you're going to get upset save it for the time you get your own fluffy white bunny on a rainbow armor. And even then... try to find the bright side in our dark sideness. -Eric
  22. A Lego Con sounds really fun. That may be the one con I would actually pay to get into. I myself did not enjoy Legoland yesterday. I felt like a birthday party clown for a teeming mass of unruly monsters. But I did meet some new and old members for the first time and that was super fun. -Eric
