I didn't use snaps but just glued it back on. I left a strip for support and it's solid.<br><br> Edit: Sorry, but I don't know why my photobucket pics aren't showing up.

I have a 10.5 and wide feet. I ordered size 11 from imperialboots and they fit great.

The whites may not match up... But the original helmets were green and then painted white, with white ABS ears. You could always paint the HIPS helmet to match your armor. I believe you can also find helmet build threads here in which members have painted their helmets green and then added white over that in order to replicate the film prop.

It looks like it could be a Bapty style blaster but... Bapty blasters had a block of wood shoved in the magazine. This one had just a regular cut magazine.

I enjoy reading about all this stuff... But is it possible that once Celebration is over we can have a single correct answer for who was "chosen", who did what with who's property, etc, etc. It really doesn't matter in the end for me but If it can't be made public, stick it in the Legion only section or on the main Legion boards.

How about gluing an inner shim using CA glue and accelerator? You could then E6000 a cover strip afterwards.

I had to remove a little more of the notches too. I think you'll be OK if you try just a little at a time.

I used epoxy putty instead of shims. Before it fully cured I drilled pilot holes into the "blobs" of putty. I then screwed my lens in. The blobs may by hard to see because they are painted black. I used the acetate film that came with the helmet until I can find a thicker green lens. -----------

Haha! Yes! I've been sidetracked with a home repair project so I've only been able to do bits and pieces.

Hey Bro... I have this helmet too and what I did to get the look I wanted was to shim above the faceplate under the brow. I folded over some elastic to about 1/4 inch and stuffed up there. ---------- As for the eyes... I mounted mine in a different way. I'll have to take apart the helmet to show you. I'll try to get some pics to you. @ Locitus... My ears are thick too. I'll have to shave them down more when I have time.

Definitely head over to mepd.net There are some modifications to do in order to convert a TK to a TD but it can be done. Check out if someone has done it already with the type of armor you have. Look through the work in progress threads. You could also compare the CRL's between the two costumes. Good luck!
