    I have just paid for the capacitors so I should have them in hand shortly. The place I got them from is MULLARD MAGIC http://www.mullardmagic.co.uk/mullard/default.aspx Big thanks to Steve the owner for all his help finding these. A really helpful guy.

    After wanting a real Sterling for a while I took the plunge and recieved this in the post today By bsac15 at 2012-05-30 After a bit of a clean up I decided the first job I would tackle would be to shorten the mag. First I took it apart and marked with a pencil where I wanted to cut By bsac15 at 2012-05-30 After cutting I put it in a vice and used a hand file to make the two thinner sides of the mag shorter so it would leave the two longer sections so I could form the lips to hold on the end cap By bsac15 at 2012-05-30 After some fine filing this is what I was left with By bsac15 at 2012-05-30 I replaced the inner spring and slid the cap over and this is how it looked By bsac15 at 2012-05-30 Job done By bsac15 at 2012-05-30 I will update this thread as soon as I start the next stage of the build which will probably be the scope rail.     After two full evenings of research I have just recieved an email from a very helpful chap telling me that he has 31 of the capacitors that we need. The very same ones from earlier in this thread. I have told him that I will take the lot. When I have them I will gladly share them out amongst us all free of charge to whoever wants some.     It's there to make a plot point of the story possable. It wasn't a mistake. A trooper without a holster plays no part towards the story . Whilst doing a troop you would just have people saying that you forgot part of your costume.

    Whenever you see an oddity with the stormtroopers in the movie it is a mistake. Mr no stripes, missing TD's, broken knee plates, hand guards on the wrong way round. These are mistakes made or overlooked. I feel that the cool thing about stormtroopers is that they are all identical (or are supposed to be). An army of perfectly suited soldiers each one indistinguishable from the next. I don't think the mistakes should be replicated. If one trooper wasn't wearing a holster it was because they forgot to put one on him or it fell off. All the others had one so why would he not have?

    Hi Brian. I don't think I know of Troopergear. Could you post a link so that those of us that are not familiar with them can see what we are talking about. Also have you looked at the list of recommended armour sellers here on FISD?
