Hello all. I'm really sorry to post yet another question that has already been asked a thousand times. I have just ordered an AP kit and have started doing my reasearch for cutting and trimming the parts. Can anyone point me in the direction of any build threads that show the trimming process. I am mainly concerned with how much of a return to leave on pieces like the upper legs. Also I've seen quite a few threads where people have painted their AP armour. Is this necessery or is the kit nice and shiney out of the box. Thank you in advance for any help. Rob.

Sorry if this has been asked before but what is the best type and brand of glue for putting together an AP suit. This will be my first build so I just want to make sure I get it right from the start. Thanks for any help.

I am in the process of putting my armour together and was a bit worried about using the standard metal rivets. I know alot of you out there use them but I just know that if I tried that I would crack the plastic. I came across these and wondered what you all think or have any of you used them before. Would it be a problem in the future when I go for membership to the 501st? They are very strong nylon type plasic and the ring pushes very tight, although if I use them I would probably use the smallest amount of glue for a solid fit.

Hello everyone. This is my first post here and may I say, what a great place this is. I have a quick question and I'm sorry if it has been asked before. Can someone tell me is FX armour will be a good colour match with a SDS battlespec helmet. Or better still, can anyone point me towards any pictures. Thank you for any help.
