  1. Make sure that there is a slight gap between your lens material and the eye sockets, i.e. don't hermetically seal this area. This will allow air to flow in and out and generate a proper circulation. This is more effective and important than fans (even if you do install fans additionally).
  2. Arms look much better. The shoulder bell strap is just glued at both ends inside the shoulder bell. There is no real need to fill the gap on your thigh armour. There were probably plenty of suits with little gaps like that. If it bugs you, and it's difficult to take the part apart and re-align it, you can certainly fill that with some paste and sand it flat when it's dry.
  3. Listen to this man! http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/19372-correct-bicep-to-forearm-connection-anhesb-video-and-photo-references/ Yes, I am a broken record. No, I don't care.
  4. I think it's widely accepted and established that Abrams wants to use more live actors/costumes/models etc. as opposd to digital effects. If stormtroopers do indeed feature, I imagine we should prepare ourselves for two realistic eventualities ... 1. Exploitation of the stock of intact "tour suits" (or even reproduction base don tour suits), i.e. lots of ROTJ-style TKs 2. A batch of new stormtrooper costumes created from scratch Let's be honest here, we're a sensitive bunch and, when it comes to TKs we find it hard to approach anything with a truly open mind, this could be great or, depending on your relative sensitivity or puristic nature, could get pretty traumatic for some.
  5. A smart assetone comment?
  6. Hi Graham, Nice way to come back. Look forward to see this progress.
  7. Some general build advice to improve the overall look. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/19372-correct-bicep-to-forearm-connection-anhesb-video-and-photo-references/
  8. Looking very good in general. Here is some general build advice to improve the overall look. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/19372-correct-bicep-to-forearm-connection-anhesb-video-and-photo-references/
  9. Finger weg!
  10. Richard Lindsay 6042 Centurion A4
  11. Billy, you beat me to it!
  12. I still have my CFO so you're not alone, Colin. Looks like the poll doesn't show on my phone so I will have to vote when I'm back on the PC. My other armour is my TM. You should never be without a TM if you can help it.
  13. Looking good, trooper. This video might offer some additional help with visualising the biceps-forearm connection if you haven't yet addressed it. Otherwise, you can rely 100% on what Paul (troopermaster) tells you. Just follow his instructions.
  14. AA's? Ironic huh!
  15. Those look reasonably similar to the originals. The originals also had leather welted soles. This just makes them more accurate. Quality dress footwear is traditionally made with a leather sole. It's not excessively slippy, especially when scuffed up on concrete/tarmac.
  16. Paul, can I hire you to do some after-dinner speaking at our big annual event next year? You won't have to write a complicated speech or anything, Just repeat this sentence over and over for about 20 minutes. Sick to death of seeing biceps hidden under shoulder bells and a bloody great black stripe of undersuit between biceps and forearms. http://www.legion501.com/foros/viewtopic.php?f=94&t=5642 JOIN THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. I think your shoulder bell problem is due to the relatively wide biceps parts. It looks like you might work out a lot and therefore you probably need the parts a bit wider. That said, maybe the elastic on the shoulder bells is too tight around the biceps. Is it maybe all these factors which are causing the bells to ride up? Anyway, RS PVC suits are cool. We all do a bit of post-build tweaking and you'll soon have it sitting perfectly.
  18. Crikey! Your memory is good. That doesn't count though. That was 100% screen-accurate! I just happened to pick the screen grab of the one guy on set with the guards on back-to-front. Funny but true!
  19. Been there, done that. Even worse, I posted a picture of the assembled armour pieces on here before I realised. So someone else got to tell me what a dick I am!
  20. Congratulations, Jose. Thanks for clarification Phil.
  21. José Andrés would like to know exactly what, if anything, he has to change in order to have his costume pass for Centurion. Thanks.
  22. Lo pongo pero entendí que al final no había terminado revisando todo aunque ya ha dicho que cumples todos los requisitos y es que sólo no le gusta a el aspecto en general.
