  1. Sorry to hear that, Vern.
  2. I know that the market of armour is a lot better today than 4 years ago. I was just saying that despite that, if your don't research you can still make bad decisions even here. As for you, 38" waist is a little abstract for me since I'm not used to imperial measures despite all my time here. But I would recommend asking someone who either has RT or the new NE to measure the inner distance, end-to-end of their ab and kidney pieces. If those add up to 38" then you're set. And at least from RT, you might be able to but loose pieces and not have to replace your whole kit.
  3. You want the biceps to be touching the top of the forearms when standing with the arms straight down. That would be the ideal anyway. And don't forget to paint all the rivets, except the crotch, white. Otherwise you're looking good and should be cleared in no time once you finish up the rest of your build.
  4. I'm satisfied with this. Approved!

  6. If you get the T-track to sit more flush to the body of the blaster I'm willing to approve this. Although there are some good suggestions already mentioned that I also would recommend following.
  7. Eagerly awaiting update pictures.
  8. Please upload pictures of your changes. You're off to a good start.
  9. That looks better. But I think you still should tighten up your belt so it doesn't sag in the back, like it does in your pictures. Approved.
  10. The end caps on that TD look a little wide. But it works for EIB. Approved!
  11. You have your tube stripes reversed. You should swap places left and right.
  12. Dday is absolutely right. You can make a bad purchase here too if you don't do your research or at least ask first. Like buying a kit that is way too small for you requires a lot of shimming that could have been avoided for example. CFO sells armour on ebay btw...
  13. Doesn't matter. Sooner or later someone else will read this thread and wonder about the same thing. Now they get an answer to that, even if it is off-topic.
  14. They used old suits from ANH when filming ESB. They just refurbished them and repainted the helmets.
  15. Not so new around here. Bad people. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/22634-ctm-props/
  16. TM has no website. But he is a member here on the forum. Try sending him a PM.
  17. As far as I know, only NE and ATA makes black armour. But we are not the spec ops detachment. They might know more.
  18. They might have used two different blasters for Luke in that scene. I had a look at our screen shots and found this, which looks like a firing sterling, that doesn't have the "blocky" rear sight and has some kind of bolt to the side of the sight.
  19. From what I can read it says NG 7210 The 0 could be a D. The something follows that might be ACR
  20. Well... Gino's said a lot of things that have since been proven wrong. His T-track may be accurate, but saying it is the be all-end all is a bold claim.
  21. Security fixes, better support for mailing out newsletters and more ways to stop bots from registering and spamming us are some new benefits.
