  1. It's in the top right corner of the quote, far to the right side of your screen. A bent arrow.
  2. That's a feature of the upgraded forum that I installed last weekend. Also notice that when quoting, there is now a link in the top right corner of the quote that links back to the original post.
  3. Hardware stores should have them. Or www.smugglersrun.net
  4. The latter ones might be okey, but I can't tell for sure from the small picture. The first pair is an easy no-go. As for comfort with real rubber gloves. Use glove liners. It makes all the difference.
  5. Yes, probably. And also about 5x more expensive than any other 501st approved helmet. Btw, we sill haven't heard anything new about this helmet for many months. So don't get your hopes up.
  6. Hand painted is always preferred for ANH even if it's not actually painted.
  7. Don't buy those boots. They look like crap and the vendor is a front for starfortress (you can google that for more nasty info). It's not someone you want to be supporting. ----------
  8. That looks better, and I like the "new" belt. Get those suited up pictures and I imagine you'll breeze right through approval.
  9. Hand painted is nice if you can pull it off.
  10. Don't use the dark blue. Use the french blue.
  11. You shouldn't need ab buttons. The ab plate should have those moulded in. You just need to paint it.
  12. You don't need that return edge very much anyway, so don't worry.
  13. Your left part is upside down.
  14. It is in the spirit to make it look accurate to the outside. And you can't do that with velcro. And if you can, and I don't notice, then I won't comment on it. Good on you sir. And Eric, there is no mention on the size of how large your cover strips need to be. I'd rather see someone wear larger coverstrips instead of velcro. And why would you still not need the same size cover strips to hide your velcro? It doesn't make sense that you magcially can have slimmer armour because you can use velcro. You arm doesn't shrink because of it. Well, you have your partnership with AP so of course you would not want to wear anything else. Even if it would look better on you. You can use shims on your forearms too.
  15. Anyone else having trouble?
  16. It works fine on my android. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  17. I'm talking about centurion, still. Also Vern; you are wearing armour that you and me both know is too small for you. Using yourself is not a good example this time. Using common sense when wearing armour includes wearing armour that is your size, and if it is, then you shouldn't need to use velcro. Hence why I think it should never be used. Because I base my opinion on common sense, and correct accurate assembly.
  18. "Fully enclosed" is in my opinion not semi enclosed. IE closed permanently.
  19. No velcro on the forearms for centurion. Or in my opinion - ever.
  20. Use thinner. I'm assuming you used humbrol paints, they have a thinner sold at the same place as the paints. It works great and is very kind on the plastic. Acetone melts plastic. Not something you want to happen to your helmet.
  21. Nice paintjob Paul! What paint did you use?

  23. Speaking of which, we should remove FX and AM at the same time.
