  1. Buy a kit from one of our recommended vendors. They take care of the vacuum forming. You just need to trim off some excess and glue it together. Like a large scale model aircraft. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/
  2. Use photobucket or similar services for your pictures. Our FISD gallery is only for reference images and other site content that needs to be permanently available.
  3. It's about your preference. Both are great in their own ways.
  4. You are definitely in the upper range limit, but I think that with the XL shins it could work. You'd have a little more black showing than ideal, but that is unfortunately not uncommon even on shorter troopers. And TM is high-end great looking armour. So I'm sure you will be most pleased. Plus the shipping will be cheap and no import taxes either from buying locally.
  5. Yeah, there is a satin humbrol enamel. I don't have the number in my head, but I have a tin at home. It's in their standard range and should be easy to get hold of if you have a humbrol vendor somewhere.
  6. I prefer satin on the vocoder, but many use gloss. The mic tips I would say flat.
  7. That is not really a feasible conversion, they are really different and no part of the DD kit is of ROTJ version.
  8. Don't overlap. NE isn't designed to be overlaped. Cover strips only. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  9. Best holster attachment method there is. It's genius.
  10. I'm using Firefox. Compared to how chrome has been lately, firefox is lightweight again. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  11. Thanks for keeping me in the loop Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  12. Welcome to the wonderful world of IE compatibility.
  13. White gaffer tape, pain kills and a small multi tool for screws with knife on it, and some various batteries. That's all I carry.
  14. It's found under the "About FISD" tab, like usual. Here's the direct link: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/page/staff.html
  15. Works fine for me. A tech question like this is kind of useless without some more info on what browser and version you're using though.

  17. Congrats! Just be glad answering PM's doesn't increase your post counter. Otherwise you'd be much worse off!
  18. I would like to see a suited up picture of the addressed belt to be sure it has been solved. Otherwise I have no other comments. It's quite clear that there is a big difference between these:
  19. There are multiple build threads you can search, but you would not be disappointed with a hyperfirm blaster.

  21. You're welcome! http://www.whitearmor.net/eib/certificates/85254-eib.png
  22. No worries. Take as long as you need.
  23. Nice and accurate build. And good work on fitting a smaller armour to a larger body. My only comment would be to try to get the belt to sit higher on your back. Looks a little like it's riding on your butt atm. Approved!
