  1. The confusing thing about imperial measures is that 6.10 feet is not the same as 6 feet, 10 inches. Jeremy has a point with the shoulder bells, but it's not a big deal compared to what many others look like. It's an easy fix though. If you just get some rubber gloves and latex hand guards from Karin and get split rivets for the ab, you should be ready for centurion. As for the resolution, this is much better! While I can only speak for myself, but I don't think I ever use a computer that is connected to the internet with less than 100Mbit downlink. Approved!
  2. Yes. Look up NE. There are some build threads here already.
  3. Looks good so far, but I'd like you to upload larger images. Call me lazy, but I'm not going to click every thumbnail in order to review you.
  4. Forearms first, then gloves.
  5. Eric tracked down the problem and it's been fixed now.
  6. That sounds more like a cache problem in your browser. I have done some re-caching on the server side which might have changed something that your cache points to. Try a hard refresh (ctrl+shift+r) of the page.
  7. Please do. That is your area of expertise.
  8. I have quickly checked out common features of the site with a secondary account we have for testing purposes and I see no other problem with the site aside from the "array" that is shown instead of the username when looking at the "new content" page.
  9. Yes, there is a bad-word filter. Always has been.
  10. This has been discussed many times over, and no it won't be approved because it was a mistake during production. But make a display if you like. No one will stop you. I've always thought of the tube stripes as their way of illustrating a kind of vent on either side of the helmet for some imaginary breathing apparatus.
  11. Tutorials should be found under "TK Information post". It works for me, but I'm going to log out and have a second look since some features work different for me since I'm an admin. And thanks. Hopefully we get this "array" thing sorted out quickly.
  12. I just noticed. I'm guessing that is a bug in IPB.
  13. Upgrade complete.
  14. You wouldn't be the first to want to make Mr No stripes helmet, and plenty have done so for display. But you cannot gain 501st membership with such a helmet as it is considered a mistake of the prop department rather than an intended look of the helmets.
  15. As long as it isn't hurting/pinching/etc when you move around it should be fine. Everyone is different, and so are the armours. That means that different people get different amount of movement out of their suits.
  16. I will perform a site backup and later on an upgrade to the latest forum release today. Things might not work as expected while the upgrade made. But please don't be alarmed.
  17. Nothing to worry about.
  18. I would say those tubestripes are too thick and too few. Props for hand painting them though!
  19. I raise your fan made reference and give you LFL archives: Of course you might not be able to mount your knee plate the same way since it is different in size and shape than the real deal, but I can't encourage using replicas as reference. Look at the real stuff and do what you can or need to make it look the same.
  20. Depends on how much you value your time. The work is relatively easy and we have some fantastic tutorials/build threads here to teach you how to do it. But if you really just want a finished blaster then this is a good choice.
  21. Keith and sskunky both make wonderful aerators. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2

  23. Don't use their included aerators if you hope to get EIB. They are inaccurate. If you are going to use your own speakers you might as well try to build them into other accurate aerators or mount them inside the helmet behind them instead.
  24. Your TKC is weathered anyway, don't worry so much about matching paint. Or you can sand off the paint and polish the ABS back up to whatever shine you like.
