  1. Black straps are just fine. Tan is more common. But not required. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  2. No, that's not what the archive is for. Locking the thread is more appropriate. Archiving is for dealing with old threads with no activity. Same (high level) affect but with two different purposes. Under the hood, archiving does more than just locking.
  3. I added a 5 posts minimum earlier today. Let's see what happens next.
  4. There should be no paint on the crotch snaps for either level. Not even basic approval. Use French Blue for all the blue parts. And finally, I think you will find the RS helmet quite roomy. If you don't you either have an unually large head, or have been spoiled in the past.
  5. Thanks for the clarification. Makes sense. Not that anyone can stop you from making pieces that look the same. There is no monopoly on certain pieces.
  6. Even if he was recasting tango, he has permission to do so. Ask tango yourself if you like. Now either you show us proof, or shut up. Or I will ban you.
  7. It is a tricky word, and everyone has different opinions on it. I am heavily against it in more or less every regard. I am however understanding of it in some situations. But I still don't agree with it. As in the case of the mic tip. Tough luck. Better order a new pair from someone that sculpted their own, like sskunky or Keith and replace both of them at the same time. Until then, no trooping, or use a different helmet/costume/borrow something. Speaking of continental limitations.. If I were to recast hyperfirms to offer to all the europeans out there, because sci-fire refuses to ship outside the US, would you not think that was wrong?
  8. A minimum post count is not a bad idea. It already exists in the sales forum.
  9. Maybe I just remember things differently than how it really is. And of course, my exposure to German of any sort is limited compared to yours. At least I'll go back to Leipzig in June.
  10. I like it it. I was there around 12 years ago, but really should go back. It's like Germany but smaller and Austrians speak nicer/cleaner German than Germans. I also have a former work mate living in Vienna so I need to visit him sometime.
  11. No, they are one and the same. It wouldn't be archiving if it didn't lock the threads.
  12. You don't even have to bump it every 30 days. The time limit is 90 days.
  13. Sure, there will be variances between different (original) belts on the position of the rivet covers. But it's better to put it end to end with the outside edge of the belt rather than the middle or even worse, end to end with the boxes.
  14. Yes. It does need updating. The only source you can truly trust are screenshots and pictures of original armour. Never ever fully trust anything else.
  15. That is one sweet looking blaster! You need to take some glamour shots of that beauty in proper lighting!
  16. Seems to me like with the updated diagram and the additional comments we have good enough information in here to warrant a pinning.
  17. And what will people say if we change it to 4 months? "It's too little! Give us more!". It will never be enough.
  18. Individual threads can be exempt without affecting the others. Should the need be for that. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  19. This is the way it will stay. And it saves us from people replying to two year old sales with "is it still for sale" when the person who sold whatever it was is long gone. All links will still work. All dates will still be saved. Nothing is deleted. Deal with it.
  20. You make a new one if the sale is still active and don't let it remain inactive for 90 days. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  21. I should know these things. I wrote the requirement. Yes, positioning would be nice, but sometimes it can be hard to get the point across in just one sentence. And to do it without making it disambiguous. It's also better if the positional requirements are lower-tier than centurion imho.
  22. http://www.whitearmor.net/eib/certificates/60918-centurion.png
  23. Indeed. But there is no requirement on the position of the bumps. That does lead to the possibility that someone could apply with only the forward bumps painted. But I hope no one is silly enough to do that.
