  2. Mark! So glad to see you here! I have no idea how many were made, but if would have to guess, aside from the TE hdpe Dave M kits, I would say maybe 30 FG or so.
  3. You don't need a new one but you did trim it from incorrect to incorrect. There's just no requirements to do it properly right now. Just have a look at our reference gallery in the future. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  5. Too bad you cut the knee plate Incorrectly. It shouldn't have the lower 45 degree cut but a straight 90 degree. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  6. I don't think anyone considers you a jerk Scootch Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  7. The back is behind the face. You can see one side of it stick out on the left.
  8. That was very cheap. Could be good practice before you buy a good kit. The plastic on that kit looks to be extremely thin so don't expect it to last very long.
  9. No, not really. How much are they asking? Good budget kits go for around $125.
  10. If he did bring solid proof to the table I and others would indeed look very foolish. But so far we have seen a wip that could just as well be a reworked cast from another maker. Which I find is many many times more likely than another 1st gen cast shows up, which has so far to my knowledge only happened twice in ANH TK history (Brian R and Simon). Three times if you count the Dave M 3D scan. Compared to the near infinite recasts.

  12. Thought the name was familiar. The teeth and vocoder doesn't look like RS, but the ears look very much like it, as well as some of the surface bumps and stuff on the cap&back.
  13. Looks like RS to me.
  14. Either version is fine. I cut my at 45 degree angles back in 2010, and others did it way before then. Some mix it up. Some do all rounded. It's a personal preference. Edit: rereading your question I better understand what you're talking about, and I would say in the cases where it makes sense, you should cut the strips at such an angle. It depends on how you trim your parts to fit basically. I did that to the back of my thighs. It's a common spot to do so, as can be seen here:
  15. Like Kyle said, it's as simple as connecting red to red (positive) and black to black (ground). Here's diagrams for the two most common kinds of on-off switches. Two or tree pin connectors. Just imagine them without the fuse holders.

  17. The marks may be from the original suit but unless you trim your parts just like the originals the marks will be off from their intended positions. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. All armour starts out the same size. When you buy ready to wear you're only paying someone else to do what you would do yourself when it comes to sizing it for your self with a kit.

  20. That is because they don't actually know what they are doing. Not at the same level as the experienced builders you find here on this forum. You can take anything they make and point out several mistakes that would only take an hour or two of browsing forums about each costume to find out how to do it correctly. But they don't bother with that.
  21. It means that you can't use them at all. They are way too inaccurate to properly represent what Centurion is about.
  22. That is correct. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  23. Yeah, that looks like the doopydoo kit with some markup.
