  1. That requirement is just plain incorrect when compared to the movie. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  2. Since ESB is mostly based on re-used ANH suits you should definitely add them. They are a basic requirement for ANH and should be for ESB as well. Aside from the boring "by the book stuff" it will also help your bells stay in place when moving around, making you look a lot more professional. Which is why they were added in the first place when filing the movie.
  3. Where are your shoulder bell straps (the horizontal ones)?
  4. The point is to make the edges flush and look more like the original thighs. And if you have moulded ridges in the back you should cut them off to make it level. But if you are not interested in making the most of it and truly emulate the look of the originals, well then you can do whatever you like. I'm not here to argue it.
  5. Pardon the extremely crappy drawing, but if you imagine the black is the default thigh, the blue is the shim(s) and the green is the cover strip.
  6. Inject two halves of the shim on either side of the opening. Make them flush with the existing armour. Fill any gaps and make it smooth and invisible. Then add the cover strip to cover up your new seam line.
  7. Aww yes - Another Fireblade build. Take notice, newbies. This man know what he's doing.
  8. To be fair, anything can fail when not used properly.
  9. Nah, definitely the pose.
  10. Very true. But in this case, it is plenty tall, clocking in at at 170 cm.
  11. Looking good
  12. Get something that is accurate. AP/TM/RS/ATA or similar. If you need to shorten the kit for your height, start by taking off some at the bottom of the shins.
  13. A blaster that meets the requirements is definitely not optional when going beyond basic approval. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  14. When searching, always make sure the grey button next to the magnifying glass icon says "Forums". Otherwise it will search elsewhere, like in the thread you are visiting.
  15. Good thing we have 1400 ANH screen caps in our own gallery.
  16. There is screen-accurate strapping. And then there is everything else. Period.

  19. It's not so much that you can't post images, it's how you post them. Either you use the image-pasting-button and use the direct URL and paste it into the popup that comes on when you click the button. Or you use the IMG-tag-enclosed URL and paste that directly into the text field. Or, like some people like to do, if you use the fancy-editor (default) and just drag/drop images into the text field from another browser window.
  20. Yeah. The pictures in the gallery housing them are all given to us by Chris, who's posted right before me.
  21. I had the pleasure of trooping SW1's TM 1mm this weekend. It's light as a feather, and completely awesome.
