Good news, heard back from RS Props and I'll be able to get these parts in PVC. So that is hurdle one out of the way. Then just attaching ammo rivets correctly will be huddle the next hurdle.

I added some Velcro to the center chest and the sides so I could do a rough fit test of the torso with the chest: Then I went about getting the outer chest’s upper tips to properly “close”. I used a heat gun and very slowly “bent” the tips so they would lay nicely on the inner chest. It took a few applications to get it, but I think it turned out really nicely. USE EXTREME CAUTION WITH THE HEAT GUN! I used one quite a bit on my ANH Stunt TK, so I was comfortable with it. Then I built up the inside with scrap ABS so that the Velcro would adhere properly between the inner and outer chest pieces: Then added the Velcro and put them together: I’m happy with how it turned out.

The first post on my log just disappeared! Actually, this happened to me with the Attaché List, with the introductory post getting pushed to the very end of the thread. Almost seems as if a forum platform update changed some default settings, as this literally happened to me within minutes of Luca doing the same thing. And since then I've caught it from happening at least once or twice again.

Info here Return Edges- Angles on the edges of many parts of TK armor used for strength or to give them a thicker appearance. Info here S S-Trim- Black rubber gasket with an S shaped profile installed around the opening of a TK helmet Shim- ABS pieces normally used to extend the sides of the kidney plate, but can be used in other areas as needed. Single Cap Rivet- Hollow bodied fastener with a dome on one end used to connect the thigh ammo pack. Screen accurate, but split rivets may be substituted. Head diameter should be 5/16" (8mm) Sniper Knee Plate- Hexagon shaped piece attached to the top front of the left calf Shoulder bridge- Ribbed armor piece that connects the chest and back plate Spats- Circular pieces which wrap around the lower ankles of FOTK armor. Split Rivet- Round head metal fasteners with a split (bifurcated) shank attached on the left side of the kidney/abdominal plate. Head diameter should be 5/16" (8mm). Can also be used to mount the thigh ammo pack Squad- Subdivision of a 501st Garrison in a distinct region containing at least 10 members. Currently 78 world-wide Stunt- Armor style as worn by most TKs in ANH. Differs slightly from Hero. More info. here Swag- Alternate name for merchandise (coins, patches) etc. See also Merch. T Thermal Detonator- Elongated canister clipped to the rear of TK belts. I think it will since I used the heat gun to bend the tips and the Velcro isn’t really doing much except holding in place.

Nice work, Hope it works great ! I had to change the velcro for Magnets. The pressure when placed the chest piece made it pop up.

That’s such a relief. Thank you. Yes, it’s totally hidden by the belt but I may try your paint trick, probably just spotting it with some white to see if it lifts the shadow. I wouldn’t have though of that.

OK brilliant that is useful information. However, as mentioned above eFx had access to the archives for the Boba Fett helemt. This is from a FB post on the same topic. As a response to someone who says the Anovos is RS recast; no, thats false. The Anovos TK was laser scanned from pieces in the archives, then the digital files were cleaned somewhat and sharpened (the thinner plastic they used also contributed somewhat to the sharper look of their suits). I was in the original pre-order group for the first batch at $350, and Anovos sent us regular "behind the scenes" development emails about the process of bringing the tk to market. The teeth, just for example, are totally different between the rs and anovos buckets, and look like two different original helmets are the respective sources

Hey everyone. I recently picked up an Elegoo Saturn 2 printer. So far have been very happy with it once I got over the initial bumps of figuring out the supports. ‘I am using Lychee slicer for setting up the print files and using the Siraya Tech resins. Started with fast but now am doing a 80:20 fast to tenacious ratio and it is working very well. issues I have had were mainly when printing with 100% tenacious resin for some shoulder bridges on my death trooper build. Had to increase the exposure time to avoid getting mush prints.

Forgot to mention, I also find adding in thin coats I get less air bubbles, something to do with the acetone curing the ABS

I agree what Glen suggested. ( a little battle damage is allowed ) and I'm afraid If you keep on sanding and applying abs paste the cure could be worse than the ill

I've encountered this a few times, appears once you sand through the skin the internal color can change, also may find very small pin holes. I managed to mix up some waterbased acrylic to closely match the armor color and touch up. I would see how it looks being worn and see were the belt will sit, you won't need to supply a close up of this so it may not even be seen

Glued the biceps closed: Drilled the holes for the “kit-kats”: CAUTION the guide holes on the template are incorrect! You can see the difference in the above picture. Added them: USE EXTREME CAUTION when drilling the pilot holes in the kit-kats and screwing in the screws, the screws are too long for these!! I added washers to them. Also, I highly recommend adding these before gluing the shins. It is really hard to screw them in after the shins have been assembled.
