  1. Considering where it was filmed it's another member from the SCG I would imagine.

  2. My current fitness could be better, but I've been in great shape. Thanks for asking! We walked about 70 miles last week (no kidding) in Disneyland. My feet are begging for mercy but I'm feeling good. Gonna get back into the gym swing shortly. verrry very slowly gaining weight even, which is good. My Crohn's disease is in remission again.

  3. Once again, time to start another journey of armor building. I just put a down payment for a Dave’s DarkSide Depot armor set. I’ve heard he is one of the better options for larger troopers and my thighs and calves definitely need absolutely all the width I can get compared to some kits. All those squats make armor worse to fit lol. Anywho, just like my FO build kit I will detail the process here. I’m having Dave build the helmet out for me just because I’m not full of time in life like before, but beyond that I will build the rest. I am aiming to get centurion status. Components Hard Parts Helmet and Armor Kit - Dave's Darkside Depot (AM 4.5 or 5.0) E-11 Blaster - link removed by staff (agreed on by me) This being said I eventually will work to get a more extreme level of accuracy in a blaster. For now I will live with what I have. I share this note here just to recommend others don’t follow my same mistake in vendor selection for the blaster and instead look for a different vendor as shared in the post above. 4. I had to make 'set screws' so the limbs would stay put. I have slits in the back of the mannequin so I can get to the bolts.

  5. But more importantly, I think I'm ready for pre-approval. Now it's not 100% where I want it for Centurion, but I'll continue to work on areas of improvement.

  6. Thanks so much, I did read those and they were super helpful. At the moment I am just waiting for some feedback from 850, KB and Shaun. Wanted to check on some of the questions I had as it would play a part in the choice of kit as well. I am going to start sourcing everything else while waiting for the final decision and purchase of the kit. Any and all advice is greatly welcomed and appreciated. Thanks so much

  7. Yes I had a "what tha" moment when I saw the end price. "What's it worth" well pretty much what ever someone is prepared to pay, you just need to find the right buyer, amazing it sold for so much more than the other kits. It's good to at least see the wording mentioned that it was a 501st members and not one of the specific production armor sets. It would be interesting to hear Disney's take on this, legion members aren't able to make any profit on merchandise after all.

  9. Good evening guys! Not a real update but Im still alive. What I can say is that I made a 2nd helmet that is closer to the BS reference, although it looks weird. Visor from Phoenix Props is missing, once its there I'll post pictures. The armor itself is currently laying around at @R2Dan for some upgrades and better fittings My goal is to have everything done by the end of the year. Definetly for Celebration!

  10. Hey Jason, nice work on your build so far. In regards to your Imperial Boots question, I recently ordered an 11 from them earlier this spring. I wear a size 10 1/2 running shoe, but I have wide feet and rock an EEEE width. I too read that people recommended ordering a size up, so I ordered an 11 and hoped that the leather would stretch to the width of my foot. When the boots arrived I found that they seemed true to length (I have a 1/2" of room at the toes), and I was happy with my selection of an 11 because my feet aren't too cramped width-wise. Long story short, I recommend the 11s as a safe bet. From my experience, you could even go with the 10 1/2 if you're feeling lucky.

  11. Hey peeps, figured I'd update this thread for anyone who hasn't seen my stuff on Instagram. My armor is basically there, save for a couple minor strapping issues and a couple dead LED strips. Once that's sorted out, I'm gonna send a new round of pictures to our LMOs and hopefully get this approved. I took this out for its first test drive this past Saturday at a local convention in Portland, Maine. Biggest issue I had was my powerbanks falling out and swinging around outside my kit, but I have a fix in mind for that. Also need to chop an inch or so off the tops of the thighs to improve mobility. Had a lot of fun though, and the armor was a hit. It was nice to be the very first TFU Shadow most people have ever seen! Hopefully more of us start popping up once we get that CRL green-lit!
