  2. Hi Steve, that straps/ buckle system looks fantastic. Regarding your snaping issue, if I understood correctly, it looks like your right thigh is out a bit. If you rotate it in a bit and move the strap too (if it's not sew in) this could do the trick. In my case, I use a leather belt to have more support and the straps are attached making a loop so I can move them as needed. Something like the image bellow.

  3. Always great to see armor coming together. One thing you might consider is removing the return edges at the tops of the biceps completely since they will essentially be hidden by the shoulder bells. This will also spare you some potential armor bite. You can also trim off the notch are shown in the photos below from Joseph's Return Edges 101 thread.

  4. The time has come, and the boy is rapidly outgrowing this kit. I'm considering selling it, but I have no idea how to price it. Armor is solid and still has lots of trooping life left in it. Would fit a skinny kid body type with a height from 53"-59" (maybe a little taller). There is some wear in typical areas, inner thighs, inner top of ab where chest plate overlaps. I think I've got over $200 of 2K clear coat on it alone. Includes everything, armor, helmet, belt, pouches, gaskets, neck seal, thigh garter, blaster, shoes, gloves. Also includes two sets of fully completed forearms (one smaller, one a little larger), and two fully completed/assembled shins/spats (one smaller, one slightly larger). Everything is painted with automotive white gloss to match, and all parts have several coats of 2K clear for protection. Any pricing suggestions would be most welcome! Thanks troopers!

  5. Definitely only glue one side at a time. Pushing down on the join quite hard then wrapping tape around tightly will help and make sure if they are under pressure you let the glue dry fully, 48 to 72 hours.

  6. That is one hell of a beautiful render!!!! I really hope the phase 3 gets re-canonised. Would be incredible to see Vader flanked by them in live action!

  7. on the knee, in game the stormtroopers use a different model of knee box than the triton squad troopers so they are indeed meant to be different. It is meant to be transitional so the belt and knee are neither p2 clone nor TK, the p3 is its own thing, half way between the two as a sort of evolution. honestly though for an in game skin using clone/tk parts for simplicity is fine since the original force unleashed in game models are so low detail that almost no one will ever notice the difference. yeah the concept art is a bit wonky, the helmet looks huge!

  11. I used this elastic. It is very stiff laterally and doesn't pull to the side. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B002XNQNNK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_R3b4CbCYZJ2EM
