  2. New Member Costume Approval Info - Elections 2021 With the Legion election period about to start February 1st, the membership database will be in lock down, during this time new member applications through your local garrison/outpost can not be finalized, you may however still submit them but they won't be processed until the end of this cycle. This does not affect the addition of any new costumes to an active members roster/profile, however it does affect any membership status changes ie: active / reserve / retired and any personal information updates. The period of membership database lockdown for 2021 starts Feb 1st and ends @ Feb 22nd.

  3. Hi Everyone, I'm Chrispy, and I'm excited to start building my armor. I'm on the waitlist for a kit from ATA ESB kit and I'm planning on chronicling my build and approval process as I go. I'm a long-time maker, new twitch streamer, fledgling R2 Builder, and lifelong Star Wars fan looking forward to bringing the same joy, excitement, and wonder that the franchise has brought me to my slice of the world.

  6. It was nice chatting with you earlier. Looks like that Anovos kit is coming together nicely. It goes without saying that Glen always has some solid advice and I think moving that thigh padding is a great idea to keep that pesky sniper plate in place. I ended up taking my thighs apart a couple times and trimming more off a little at a time to get them tapered for a better fit. E6000 is amazing stuff. I'm wondering about how your arms feel? Looks like your biceps hang a little low over your elbow and its causing your forearms to cover the ends of your wrist plates. Do you have a lot of wiggle room in the forearms? Keep plugging away and you should be on your way to EIB and Centurion in no time!

  7. Thanks Glen! I knew you’d have any answer for me. Those little nuggets of knowledge are great. It’s cool how the mythology develops both on and off screen.

  8. As far as I am aware there is no official information available in regards to rank/stripes from the movies. "This from our from our forum founder from back in 2006 The idea that they're rank stripes is something that post-dates the movies - at the time they were being filmed they weren't indicative of anything. Heck, even the number of tube stripes is not consistent from trooper to trooper. " "To be honest, I don't think the number has ever been correlated, nor officially established that this is what they are."

  12. I hope so, Brian... Meanwhile the work continued: The last photo got posted to discuss the best color option for the ear screws. They could be painted in matte black, NATO green, Humbrol grey or I could leave them brass as they are now. What do you think? Thank you for reading and commenting.

  13. Looking the part tooper. Padding behind the sniper plate should help to keep it forward. If you have padding in the thigh try moving it to the rear, it will push the thigh backwards away from the sniper plate

  15. I used white gaffer tape behind my knee ammo pack to reduce it movement. It can’t be see from the front and I chose it as an homage to the original wardrobe staff that used white gaffer tape to make on the fly repairs to the armour in A New Hope. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. I would advise double snaps on the shoulder straps and to shoulder bells, I've lost a couple over the years and having a spare there has saved me from missing out on a troop
