Happy 4th to all of us who are still patiently (very patiently) waiting for our FOTK armor kit pre-orders to be fulfilled. Sigh..........

I used one once, I did find it digs in after a while, swapped out to a thin piece of foam at the top and a couple of thicker pieces of foam at the sides of the head, much more comfortable and they can be removed and washed having Velcro on them.

I think it’s gonna be a matter of what you prefer the feel of. I tried both and like the hard hat liner by far better. Some people swear by foam inserts of some sort. Find people with both and give it a try Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So here you are Mark. It is more active here than on the KFG forum, though you will get feedback there as well, it won't be from as diverse a bunch. The build is progressing well, glad you're going for Centurion from the get go.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, there's no silly questions, just silly mistakes You will also find in the build sections many have the makers name in the build heading. Good luck an looking forward to see you're progress.

I’m guessing that you make it as your fitting it as you go . I’ll be doing foam to fit better. Maybe a Chen strap. just need to fit and see how it goes. Play with it . I’ll tell ya I’ve worked with a helmet on and ya don’t want it to be moving side to side y’all will look goofy. Good luck

So that high-profile troop happened. My first outing in my Hero kit, and things went along flawlessly! Before rehearsal, backstage with the FISD's very own Scimitar and LTM! Rehearsal with the troops! Rebel scum spotted!!! After rehearsal, we were allowed to go out and mingle incognito among the Imperial Citizens until it was time to kit up. My "Dead Trooper Arm" was spotted! Final rehearsals (and I'm not the shortest trooper, just standing next to her). Lining up right before going on stage. That's Scimitar rocking out in the back. Waiting in the wings! On stage with Weird Al!!! Can you spot me? I'm the one with the comm link on my belt. Post-performance elation!!! Then Weird Al took pics with us. Supreme Nerd Leader!!! Yeah!!! I was fangirling out in a major way. Aside from finally completing this Hero kit, this will be the highlight of my year for sure!!!
