  1. Gotcha! Still wrapping my head around the fixability and changeability of this kit. In other words, still, like Shasha, scared to death of doing anything that might even accidentally turn out to be unfixable. Yes!! *hurries to work on shins so she can sign up* Turns out I did get another picture last week, and it's a "look, everyone was right [again]" shot from trimming my neck. You know how everyone says not to just trim the same amount off of every side, but rather to preserve the original curves? Well this is what the neckline looks like traced and moved down. A far cry from taking the same amount off every edge! Imagine how wide the neck would have become.

  3. Will have a look. Main problem with moving freely at the moment is the rough edge of the biceps

  4. Then my recomendation would be to find a tighter one, not only does it help with allowing the armor to move on your body, it also prevents it from bunching up between parts of the armor

  8. It`s not supposed to be "centered", the original armor is "offset" as pic provided shows. If going for screen-accuracy, the middle button-cover should line up roughly with the top line and not the bottom as one can see from the trooper-pics And...for Centurion the dropboxes has minimal gap between the belt and boxes so if I were you I would shorten the straps some, you can see the boxes on the pics as well as belt position, good luck on approval

  9. Only a little progress has been made over the past 2 weeks due to a wedding last weekend and Thanksgiving yesterday, but I didn't want to leave you popcorn eaters hanging for too long. I'm finally seeing some progress! I've finished the gluing of the arm pieces as well as the long, arduous task of removing the excess glue. Today I glued up the fronts of the thighs. I've put in orders at Amazon and Ebay for the snaps and whatnot and am hoping to get started on the internal strapping soon!

  11. I wanted to change the angle of the ears. Here's a reference from a sandtrooper, but you can see the angle of the ear screws runs along the same angle as the backside of the temple trapezoid and the screws on the ANOVOS bucket do not. I also wanted to reduce the flare on the lower part of the ears, so they didn't stick out so much So I changed the angle and drilled new holes. It took me like 3 times to get it right lol, but I finally got the angle I wanted. I followed gazmosis' tutorial for trimming down ears to reduce the gap and getting them to sit right. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29238-my-helmet-ear-tutorial/ Unfortunately I didn't document much of the process, but here's a few shots of the new holes I set for the angle of the brow and ears Here's the finished ears, though I forgot to take a picture of the new angle before I disassembled it... The left side turned out better as it was more flush, but compared to how they were I'm happy with it.
