  2. Small differences between ANH to ESB, swapping out some parts and you can get approved in both. ROTJ is a completely different helmet and armor. This spreadsheet may help: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10tEVteIreh6AHMogW010cuH_Bf8TBfU6/view
  3. Looking good, just watch alignment of parts, hand plates hitting your forearms, I would bring them up a little, in fact your biceps should come upwards too, your right arm the bicep is almost all the way out of your shoulder, which you can also see on the rear. Shins are a little high on your boots, you may find the boots poke out when walking, having elastic or nylon inside can help. Posterior just pushing back a little in this image, looks though that you have quite a few preventative attachment's inside the armor though. Han snap is a little low and a little close to the end, BUT a precise position is not mentioned in the CRL: A single male snap on the top right corner of the ab plate is present. Your drop boxes are overlapping the belt, you may want to lengthen the elastic a little so they sit better. Shouldn't have a rounded top corner but not mentioned previously Small gap top of the back of the calves, try to get them to close fully You can also see a lot of bracket on your detonator, note the TD should sit more central to the belt, references bellow You can also add a curve to your shoulder bells (if you wish too) can sit closer to the chest Some of the above may not get mentioned so don't stress just try to address the gaps and positions of pieces and you should be good to go.

  8. I know I want to build stormtrooper armor from the original trilogy. I guess A New Hope to be exact. But researching I understand that there are differences from ANH to ESB to ROTJ? So I want to make it screen accurate and hopefully have it be accepted into the 501st.
  9. You could post them here for some feedback, it will keep your Centurion application clean, but entirely up to you which way you want to go, either is fine
  10. 39. Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra - Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in Concert; 27 April 2024 A New Hope was cancelled due to Covid, and for Empire they used non-LFL approved costumers (small whoops on their part) but a few of us were on hand for last night's concert. No other pictures - the BPO had sold out of tickets, Kleinhans Music Hall was at capacity, and we spent the two hours before the concert and all of intermission taking pictures with the concertgoers.
  11. So I've made all the modifications I think I need to for Centurion application. Do you suggest posting the pictures here for feedback, or at this point, is it best just to make a Centurion application?
  12. 38. Best Buddies Friendship Walk; 27 April 2024 My first time doing this troop (actually, this might have been everyone's first time doing this troop ...) The music during the Walk itself was "walk" themed, so ...https://imgur.com/3y5MfaO I met a very friendly Wookiee: Post-troop photo of @tdurden, @Manbehindthemask, and myself (with the reflections of Joe and James the handler):
  13. Event: # 21 Event Name: Brick fest Location: Nassau Coliseum, Hempstead Turnpike, Uniondale, NY Date: 04/28/24
  14. Great to here, make sure you do your research so you are ready to go, this thread pretty much covers most of builders questions
  15. It's definitely a good idea to keep a small tool kit with you, there have been countless times I've heard "anyone got some glue" Great thread here from Joseph on Emergency Trooping Kit
  16. Cadaet 3040 reporting in. I just received my split rivets and washers in the mail. I was able to borrow a rivet gun from my dad. Next, ill be looking into purchasing nylon fabric. Would also like to get a deburring tool along the way.
  17. Mine have been Sugru attached for over a year now with no problem.
  18. Looks good to me. At our current status as we dont have any specific more informations for the skirt would go with that what you have written. Can be updated when we have more infos
  19. Hey there! I'm trying this method out since my green lens snapped in half. I'm having trouble with the lenses remaining "flexed" and slowly separating from the faceplate over time. Has this been an issue for you as well?
  20. Requesting access for TK 88113 https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=42631
  21. I have updated the kama, now over skirt as its more than just a kama. I have also updated the belt to remove any reference to specific widths and have made it relative. Open to feedback and thoughts on if things are at the right levels for clearance.
  22. Troop 50 London , Ontario April 23, 2024 London Children’s Hospital Visit This was a very special troop being my 50th but also my first hospital troop. We went through the ward of the Children’s hospital and visited with kids and their families. It meant so much to not only see the faces of the kids light up, but also the parents who in their own right are going through so much stress with their kids not being well. Once again, glad my tears were hidden under the helmet.
  23. I just wanted to point out that at a recent troop TK-42183 Was my savoir. As soon as I started to unpack my kit, I pulled out my E-11 and the Hengstler counter was sideways and dangling off of the side of my blaster. I was heartbroken. Bryan had velcro and scissors for me to use to fix it. Afterward, my armor had a few black marks on it from my blaster and neck seal, once again TK-42183 came to the rescue with Armoral wipes to shine me up! This is a lesson I'll never forget and plan on carrying more stuff in my kit just for these emergencies for my self or any other trooper needing help. You can see the white velcro holding my counter on while he's getting the scuff marks out.
