  2. I am starting the process of painting this kit for someone and was wondering if anyone had an answer on what type of gold to use? It is a fiberglass kit and I am wanting to find a flexible mirror gold paint that can be clear coated well without losing the mirror finish. Anyone have any ideas to share? Thanks!
  3. Thank you, sir! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I heard that one a few time today. LOL

  6. Try to link directly to the photo. Those seem to be webpages with thumbnails. Your RS kit looks really good! The shoulder bells are a little low, but everything looks to fit well otherwise. If your strapping is velcro, try to raise the shoulders closer to the chest bridges. It'll feel better and give a better look.
  7. You look great Eric! Welcome to FISD!!! My own kit is AP. The amount of ridiculous things I've put it through in over 100 troops is extreme. I couldn't ask for better armor.
  8. Congrats Eric! I'm so happy to see it is complete! I'm glad you had a good first troop! I answered your DM. Congrats again Trooper! It looks amazing. Be sure to check out the Expert Infantry Program. We are always looking to grow the EI ranks! https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/95-expert-infantry-program/ James

  11. Hi everyone! TK-30874 reporting in from north of Montreal QC. After looking to purchase a Stormtrooper Stunt armor years ago, I never pulled the trigger. Fast forward 3-4 years, and 2 other finished costumes and 1 other wip, I finally pulled the trigger on a ANH Stormtrooper armor from AuthenticProps, who is somewhat local. Wy did I wait so long! I already have a couple of troops in it and the smiles we get from the young kids (and way older ones lol) is worth the price, and 'pain' we endure. Now to get more troops under the belt and let's hope I can get it approved for the next levels!
  12. What a way to break in your armor!! Well done. Hope these are the first troops of many in the white armor.
  13. Oh man, Shock trooper BFFs!!! Love it.
  14. Ok, Hoping this works. That background is the darkest I have in my home. All the other walls are white. Steve https://postimg.cc/LYPyyRpD https://postimg.cc/FkQT8qF4 https://postimg.cc/5QqsV3jF https://postimg.cc/hh9yTSMP https://postimg.cc/QHh6qRng
  15. Forum only has a small amount of space available so most of us use a free online photo hosting service, like Imgur, you upload your photos there then copy and past the link to them here in your thread. When taking photos try to use a contrasting background, your GWL will thank you as they have to edit them for the legion database
  16. Hi Steve, here's a link to a guide for photo sharing on the forum. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/42381-howto-post-images-in-threads-using-imgur-easy/
  17. Here are a few submission photos with more coming. Having some technical difficulty posting at the moment. It is only allowing me to post one photo due to the size. It's a full RS set completely built by the RS team so should be all to spec. Steve Hamedl (TK 707, Florida Garrison, Everglades Squad)
  18. Another phrase that should be familiar, as we see it fairly often in Legion. We also see "FISD" in Aurebesh somewhat often. The bottom word is only one letter off. T is upside down in Aurebesh. It's a down arrow basically. I is a 1. S is used often. It's an arrow pointing down to the right. F is upside down and slightly stylized. --------- More tomorrow.
  19. I started posting these on the FISD Discord server and thought I might share them here on the forum as well. Discord makes sharing images really easy since you don't need to host them, but I can just throw these on imgur about as easy. But I digress. Lesson 1: a phrase most are likely familiar with. L, O, and N are very easy in Aurebesh, since they're so similar to English. L and N are backwards and O is a round triangle. G is laying on it's side. V is a Y in Aurebesh.

  22. Fire Team Dark Fury sounds awesome, carry on! @captsafe66's comments above should get you on the path to making your Fire Team official(ly-unofficial ha)!
  23. Correct. We’re going with “Dark Fury” and nixing “709th legion”.
