So doing the strapping from bicep to forearm. Does the elastic go to the inside or outside?

Left arm completed. I may trim the return edge of the shoulder bells a little more.9d74ed0aa93622420003167452fcd887.jpg

Bicep to forearm should strap lined up with your cover strips at the front.

Yeah following ukswrath build thread I wasn't clear on it, but then once I go a little further down it became clear.

So in waiting for the E6000 to cure on my right forearm and thigh cover strips. I'm doing them one side at a time, lack of magnets and it also lets me not rush through. I decided it was time to tackle the ab/kidney section. So I drilled holes for the split rivets and snaps and then got those in, they're not pretty, but they're in and secure.157b478ec70d6fb10ded7e14775adc4b.jpg76dbc075d9874ab74f4e1330ca70cc8f.jpge7842c75a91e8520020cf0dbd947b6bc.jpg173319d5d015182750a7c49775e8b714.jpg9cc6173cab615df7e7590b10bf54eda0.jpg

So got out and got some supplies and started installing the brackets. I'm not sure I'll be able to use them, but it's not out of the question, just not sure. I'll find out definitely when I move to the ab. If they don't then I'll finish of the screws and then convert the strapping to the snap plates method and leave them for the look.48d8c057dd5c2489e0514e4785399eec.jpgb0de06c3e1a9259eec27e3d4f3b276ef.jpge515c97f281c5cc6457df1347d7bc728.jpg02eb7ef510a6920a4877076730d3f3fd.jpg

So I believe I can call my arms done. Just need to attach the bicep and forearm. This is my right arm, the one I had to reshape due to accidentally trimming a bit too much. It's a tight fit getting my hand through the wrist, but after I get through it fits well.ccdf95bebbb67692bdc1f06dfc95f0c2.jpg8b4c01aa27146e70b0fcbd482e3cb81f.jpg

I think I may need to warm the return edge on the right forearm to flatten it a little, but arms are complete.abea1169795f1724662e3cdc4444131a.jpg

Cranking it out and looking good
Thanks Tony. Had to pull my thigh apart unfortunately. I glued it and when I went to unclamp it realized I had a gap at both ends. Trimmed a little more and now it should be fine. I'll be re-gluing that tonight before work. Finally got my Chicago screws from anovos, two "sets" of them. Unfortunately it's really only three as one pair of them are just the post pieces. LOL! But that will be the last of my belt which leads me to a question. Do I need to do anything to keep them tight or are they okay on their own?

You could put a tiny bit of e6000 on the screw, in the hole, to keep it from unscrewing.

That was what I was thinking of doing.

Woke up late so no gluing today.

Re-gluing the thigh, added the snap plate to the chest for the shoulder strap, started the strapping and finished off the belt and TD.fcfc5ab227392bc28113e4fe3dcecf83.jpgeaaa21931d4eb1ac34a1278f46346299.jpgfb4977844d2937dde0ef764b1fa21da4.jpg00a921427e68c955ac1052587a44a07a.jpg175d6907cc7ae91a63c6ea0cfcd7d40b.jpg

Brackets and strapping done, I think I may need to redo a couple of them they feel a little loose. Testing the fit soon and then to work out the shoulder straps and fitting.8f990c78bb1a48dc519dce1448cfac78.jpgc7e1e90108d7d9b1394b63eb2f2a6c3b.jpg

Nice :duim:
Thanks! Having a hard time with my sewing machine though. This is not boding well for when I get to my neck seal as I'll be making my own. Thread keeps bunching up on the bottom. Very frustrating.

I can imagine:56pullhair: but cudos for doing it, I never even considered making a neck seal:salute:

however I heard plenty saying it was fairly easy so one never knows:duim:

Yeah between Pandatroopers tutorial and talking with SoulArt she gave me some tips so I'm much more confident about it. I did a couple of test runs, but they didn't end well. I'll have to pull up a picture of one, perhaps get some feedback on it.

This was my first attempt I think.09cd1785266746d4ba17e2ba7a15a0d4.jpg

So I am apparently the master of over trimming. Just realized that the front inner left thigh is trimmed at 7-8mm instead of 10mm. I also have a bit of a gap at the bottom and I think somehow I cut my cover strip a bit long. :'(4708a38baaadb07088f102af7680090b.jpgd219c77e08788dff40072615a76a1202.jpg84f958d62a59f188a55face86ced76e7.jpg

Bummer..but not to worry - it`s all fairly easy to fix:duim:

Option one: remove cover strip and check length, from the looks of it it could come down a few mm at the bottom so maybe the lenght is right, otherwise trim and put back.

Option 2: trim the top of the coverstrip were it sits using a dremmel (that`s how I would do it) or some other tool of your choice.

The gap: glue some scrap abs on the inside and then abs-paste on the outside and some patient sanding your good to go:)
