magni[TK]
You're cruising right along and looking good! Can I ask are you wearing compression top and bottom? The black top you're wearing looks bunched and wrinkled in photos. The armor will fit better if undersuit is a second skin. Keep up the great work and you'll be a Trooper before ypu know it!
ATAUK[TK]
Hi thanks for replys . This is a temp suit . Just a cheapie to get knicks it etc etc while testing the armor which it has lol . Bunchingup is prob just a dressing issue . Was thinking of this one https://www.extremeracing.co.uk/star-wars-stormtrooper-costume-bodysuit-undersuit.htmlOr the gear x one recommended by ross for under . Will be kitting up again shortly . Tell me what you think Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
ATAUK[TK]
Placement of tabs looks good and smal gap at the ends are fine, you could try to shorten the elastic but from the looks of it no need to bring out the heat gun just yet Keep up the great work:salute: Elastics shortend and makes it kick out in the middle now told ya its my far a very impolite person lol . Though thinks looks alot better now . Heated up the outer edges a little and much happier Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

ATAUK[TK]
Back with a little update due to work commitments Gloves artived today from isd Great stuff Attached elastic to thighs utilising a black normal belt for now . Attached the elastic with poppers .Arms :Biceps . Trimmed minimal to fit .Elastics added to bicep and shoulder conection. No elastic on shoulder yet wrap around bicepThere Was a oversized gap from where shoulder bell would meet shoulder bridges. Tried shortening the elastic a little but that just made the white webbing pull to one side . So a little hot water and looking much better i think :)maybe a few mm too close ?Though to move fully . Bicep needs held up as far as it will go . Mayed slightly shorter elastic bell to bicep? Just dont want it to pull on the webbing Then back to the left forearm.I havent fit the underside coverstrip yet due to sizing once bicep and shoulder were done . Do i need a little more off the bottom u think ?Quite good movement but cant move my hand too much before its bashing on the wrist end of the forearm. So thinking take a little off the bottom ?Hows it coming along Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

themaninthesuitcase[Admin]
Fit on the rest is looking much better now too with the back gap closed up. How long is the white strap between the snaps? if you keep that a bit shorter it will give it less room to pull out for the shoulder bells. If you're really stuck some hot water baths might allow you to flare them out a little to make more room. Don't use a heat gun, it's too harsh and will destroy the armour if you're not very very careful.
ATAUK[TK]
so removed a couple of mm. And love the difference . Bottom coverstrip now glueing on forearm . Will show pics when done.Right forearm replacement arrived from ross this morning . Other was good but after trimming all flashing . Was rather tight on upper part of forearm and didnt want bigger cover atrips and wanted to keep butt joints . So plan is to use a couple of mm of the flashing and keep the 15mm cover strips and butt joints Right thigh done with exception of trimming the cover strip a little and internal cover strips and a clean up Left shoulder bell and bicep now has elastic on and fits well. After a little hot water bath . Just needs a clean up and Just trying to stop the bridge webbing pulling ever so slightlySent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

themaninthesuitcase[Admin]
Looking good but you might want to trim down the cover strips on those thighs, that bit that sticks up will dig in good and proper. If you have a look at the reference images you'll see that other than the odd one that the cover strips are approximately flush.
gmrhodes13[Staff]
Agreed, cover strips are a little long, the less things that poke you while you are trooping the better
