Need to Sort the strapping out a little . lower the chest a touch Shoulder bridges just held in place with a little velcro for photo purposes and not glued yet. Shoulders i can get closer but pulls the webbing under shoulder bridges . Maybe loosen between shoulder bell and bicep . Will keep playing to close the gap . Maybe a little more from return edge of shoulder bell Shins are not showwn . Ill wait to do these once i can size with some boots from rs How things looking ? themaninthesuitcase[Admin]
Guessing you don’t have anything holding the thighs yet? They seem to be moving about a lot? Shoulders don’t need any Velcro, just glue at the front and some 5mm flat white elastic loops at the rear. Should hold them in place just fine. Shoulder bells are probably as good as your going to get them.
ATAUK[TK]
Hi mate i have the elastic on poppers from thigh to a black belt. Pulling them up as far as i can Bridges were just in olace to see how things looked as will be adjusting a couple of things Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
ATAUK[TK]
Shoulder webbing Two poppers in place two different positions to check for fit etc . Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Gwithian
I used poppers on the thighs as well Dave, i taped the male poppers in place on the thigh first so I could move them up /down to get the right fit before gluing themIt’s coming together really nicely Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ATAUK[TK]
Ok so not much progress at the moment . . Just waiting to order my boots then i can size the rear of shins and add sniper knee olate etc . Do have some chelsea typr boots and the are narrow ankle just not high enough so thinking instead of using those to size i may be better to wait till u have my boots from ts . Money been a little tight after christmas and all . Will also be requesting help see if any one local can help with final touches to strapping . My stupid frame aint helping things Then such as back piece If i make it almost touch the kidney it feels too low on shoulder blade area and a promenant gap between shoulder blade etc . Move up a touch and it fits over my shoulder area fine but leaves a small gap between back and kidney . Prob around 20mm so may have to get a pic or two up to show what i mean So if any one local to me reading this can help fine tuning to make the armor sit better ... although i dont mind travelling a short distance then message and will get back to you The only thing i have done realy is the inside of my lid Using eva foam adhesive sheets and a foam helmet line from clive . I have more or less lined the inside of the helmet . Along with toyying with a chin strap What you think ? ATAUK[TK]
Update . Orderd some more e6000 from ross at RWA . Snow has taken its toll on the postal service so awaiting a few pieces . Small crack in sniper knee which ive orderd a new one . Think i got the plate fitting all too well . Decided to go the bra gook method on the shins . Fairly pleased how these turned out Added small eyletts to the holes to hopefully help stop the hooks pulling throughSent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
ATAUK[TK]
Right shin .Heated up a little to help the rear cover strip conform a little better Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
ATAUK[TK]
Lots of trouble with webbing pulling under bridges etc once shoulder bells attached . One issue being .Raise the back piece and it sits nice over shoulders . Lower towards kidney to close the gap and a bigger gap opens up around shoulder blade area . Bridge webbing pulls quite a bit once bells are attached . So decided on this to give me a bit more movement and allows to pull closer inwards Join both bells with elastic . Under bridge and neck seal Thoughts ?Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
ATAUK[TK]
And a quick kit up Dont think im far away now Just waiting on some more e6000. new shoulder webbing . Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk I do not see an issue with it. Whatever works for you trooper. The strapping (thankfully) is not in the CRL. Some troopers prefer the traditional strapping from the movies, but most of us (me included) find different ways to keep our armor together when we troop. So NOPE. I see no issue with it as long as it works for you!

Leaving a larger gap for webbing to sit . Longer webbing meant more pull .This way can controll where they sit more Back and chest seem to be sitting fine now too .I can lower the back piece to sit better along kidney . But then the back doesent sit well over shoulder plad area . Leaves a gap all around at the sides Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
ATAUK[TK]
Just waiting now to see if ross at rwa produces larger kidney sections to close the gap and hopefully when it comes to it .
