Hello I've have been considering trying building a suit of Stormtrooper armor but I didn't have a clue where to begin. If anyone can share some helpful hints and or tips would greatly appreciated, or if I could attend a build party would be really great to get information, thank you

Welcome to the FISD! All the info you need is here. The best thing to do is look at some build threads of the maker of your armor. A lot of research goes into putting a set of armor together. Take your time and most of all no CA glue! Good Luck future Trooper.

Welcome to the home of shiny white armor!  The best place to get many of your questions answered is in the Getting Started section on the main page.  There, you will find a list places where (and where not) to buy your kit http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/.  After you have chosen your armor maker, there are many great build threads here that will help you along the way with step-by-step tutorials and photos, and take some time to check out the "Advanced Tactics" area as well.  This will show you how far you can take your armor toward screen accuracy.  Research will be your best friend, but know that we are here to help!

Also, it may help to let us know what area you are in.  Many Garrisons/Squads hold "armor parties", which are designed to help new folks out with their build.

Hello and welcome to the FISD!

You find the homepage of your local garrison here: http://midsouthgarrison.com/

There you will find the Member Roster with a map http://www.501st.com/members/garrisonglance.php?garrisonId=43 and for sure someone close to you who likes to help you. :)
