Cladius
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has experience with this company. Obviously they look very professional and good quality. Just want to know what you guys thought and the general turn around time for ordering armour. I'm starting to think more and more about going with an ANH TK armour and these guys look pretty good. UK based and actually make the armour sized to each individual person so helps for those who are terrible with tools or just want a ready to go set of armour. I didn't see them in the Vetted sellers unless I misread something or they go by a different name on there so was just curious. Also apparently hold the original molds and such which is always nice. Thanks guys. Link to site: http://www.originalstormtrooper.com/ Edited January 1, 2016 by Cladius
Jinsei[TK]
They are not on the vetted sellers list for a reason. Stay far away from that site. He is a known re-caster and the end product isn't very nice. From what I've read here the belt is wrong/needs to be replaced and you will spend a lot of extra time modifying and fixing the suite. More money then getting one from the vetted sellers. Edited January 1, 2016 by Jinsei

I honestly thought his stuff looked decent, but I guess that's why I am still new to this and asking questions so I don't make the mistake of purchasing "bad quality" armour. Locitus[Admin]
If having a website is important to you, you can go to http://www.rspropmasters.com Much better quality and accuracy. Or pick one from our vetted vendors list and send them an email or PM here on the forum.
Jinsei[TK]
I don't know if it's just me, but it seems to me as a general rule, if it has a website stay away....

justjoseph63[Staff]
There's a "local" company that I am going with now. Thanks guys. By "local", I am hoping you mean RT-mod or AP if you are looking for 501st approval... Both of these are awesome armorers in the "Great White North".

Both of these are awesome armorers in the "Great White North". It's a vetted seller within Canada. Authentic Props. I didn't know they even existed but it's a 501st approved suit with Centurion level approvals as well. RS props looks awesome too but honestly it will cost me way more ordering from somewhere outside of Canada between shipping, exchange rate and duty fees. Our Canadian dollar to USD is at 0.72 cents which is horrible and in pounds it's 2.2 x our CAD. So this way I save money and get a good local, 501st approved set of armour that looks great in my opinion. Airborne Trooper[501st]
AP is top notch and will definitely save you on exchange, etc. You're in good hands
Cladius
Thanks and that's good news! Just threw down my initial payment on the armour and they are starting the build. I am pretty pumped. Should have my armour in 2 months.
Airborne Trooper[501st]
In the meantime, get yourself on the list for tkboots or imperial boots, start collecting material, tools, etc. Most import, study and read every AP build so you don't hesitate to make your first cut! We are all here for you in any questions and road blocks you may face.
Cladius
I have the boots! Couldn't decide what I was going to buy for my first armour so I have the First order boots and the regular TK boots lol.

I think I still will do a first order build at some point but not til it becomes more readily available from Anovos and other places in the future. Airborne Trooper[501st]
Well that's a good thing. I had my tkboots since 2011 and just got armor and finished it in 2015. Some soft parts are harder to get than others. I want a new Spec Ops Tie Pilot bad but I'll be waiting it out for quite some time. I just am holding on that some of the vetted vedors make one because I rather not give Anovos the business. Not that I have anything against them armor wise, I just think they are overpriced. Cladius
Yeah fair enough. I'll wait til I see what the majority of people say when they get their stuff to decide what I think of Anovos.

For now I see nothing wrong with them. SlyFox740[TK]
AP customer service is absolutely amazing, top notch vendor! Also the best choice for Canadian's on a budget, still works out less than Anovos at the current price. Use the E-mail Transfer method through your online banking instead of PayPal and you'll save some additional $ for supplies & tools.
